The GOP has some smart folks in charge now. My nephew's boss is one of the bald guys up on the stage when 47 made his speech at 2-am. His boss is Lara.
Before moving to the RNC he was on the Trump campaign and his boss was Suzie Wiles. Suzi was the older lady that Trump brought up to say something but didn't.

It's for sympathy. I see it every time on the rare occasions I get on Facebook. Random women post cryptic messages about something in their life and other women jump in to say what happened and are you ok? Ever since social media gave everyone a voice, so many people used it to try and make themselves feel better about themselves.
I rarely get on any of the sites because I think they're cesspools and one of the biggest reasons for the downfall of mankind. We'd be so much better off if Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, etc., had never been created. About the only thing good about them is getting legit news instantly. Plus being easier to keep in touch with family and friends.
