Fed Chairman Jerome Powell told reporters on Thursday that he will not resign his position if Trump asks him to step down.

“If [Trump] asked you to leave, would you go?” a reporter asked Fed Chair Powell.

“No,” Powell said.

“Do you think that legally you’re not required to leave?” the reporter asked Powell in a follow-up question.

“No,” Powell said.

Yeah, saw it as well. Doubt he's going anywhere, but never know.

Trump will be met with this again. Unlike last time, he needs to fire everyone anyway. Offer them severance enough they cant say no. Let them sue if you must. Just dont let them stay and kneecap your presidency.

He made that mistake last time. Cant afford it again.

At some point during the first Trump administration, my wife's family and I came to a mutual agreement that it would be best for me to celebrate Thanksgiving with MY family. Clearly I don't need to elaborate. But after last night, I'm definitely breaking that truce, and making a glorious "last stand" in this, the year of our Lord, 2024.

(to give you an idea of what I'm up against; all of them, w/o exception, work in either government or education. Nothing but closed minds, as far as the eye can see.)
No hyperbole. No joke. I’ll make you a deal. If you will agree to post the full, unedited footage on this site then I will provide a state of the art “military/police grade” Axon Body 4 body cam. It even has a geolocation feature if things go south

Two caveats:

1) No holding back…you have to go “full clown”

2) I get the body cam back when you are done

That’s it. Those are the only conditions.

What lottery?

If you are referring to the petition…anyone registered voter in a swing state could sign it and be eligible to win the million dollars. Didn’t even have to vote necessarily.

And it was fantastic. We made dozens of millionaires all over the country for simply signing a petition that agrees with the 1st and 2nd amendment online.

Voters were fired up for it.
The petition isn't public though, it can't apply public pressure. It isn't a petition at all as it petitions no one. And you have to register to vote to be eligible. Paying people to register is illegal. Entrance into a lottery is a specifically stated illegal benefit.

From an article I read....A better story than Jimmy Carter......

Doug Miller has been my best friend and business mentor for 40 years. Doug’s wife is Melinda. Our friend Melinda died last night. She was a Texas lady who loved and supported President Trump with such passion and enthusiasm. She was MAGA through and through- in every bone and organ of her body.
But especially in her heart.
Melinda was dying of stage 4 cancer for two years now. But she kept hanging on. She should have been dead many times. Doctors told Doug “the end is near. She could pass any day.” This went on for months. Finally, Melinda stopped eating. She entered home hospice care.

But Melinda would not die. She had to live to see President Trump elected. She had to cast one more vote for Trump. She hung on all summer- in terrible pain. Melinda suffered badly. But she would not die.
Somehow, Melinda made it to the first day of early voting in Texas. She was still lucid enough that day to fill out her ballot. Doug made sure to mail it that day. She had done it.

After signing her ballot, Melinda fell asleep. That was the last time she was lucid. Doug figured she’d pass any minute after that. But once again, she hung on.

She lived for two more weeks. She wanted to live to see Trump win the election. Day after day passed- with Melinda at death’s door. She was for the most part asleep and incoherent on painkillers.

But on Election Night, she was still alive. Barely, but her heart was still beating. When President Trump was declared the winner in the middle of the night, Doug hugged Melinda and told her the great news. She opened her eyes and smiled. Then she quickly lost consciousness.

Melinda died this morning. She hung on just long enough to vote for President Trump and then another two weeks to see him elected. And then she let go.

I know she is in heaven now…looking down with a big smile…knowing Trump won and she got to vote for him one more time- as the last act of her life.

Problem is, he's correct, the fed is an independent operation, not connected to the actual government. 🙄

So, technically, I think Trump can ask him to resign, but can't fire him. Similar to the Fauci situation, if I remember correctly.

No severance required. Tenured employees can either retire OR they can just abolish the job. No need to go through stupid lawyers. All you have to do is abolish the position and not refill it later. If you refill the position, THEN you have an issue.

Alway said the same too but I’m rethinking that if they can continue holding election integrity to a decent standard.

This election showed SF woke liberal elites don’t appeal to most average Americans.
They don’t but the DNC don’t let the people pick their candidate. That’s chosen long before a primary.

08 was the last time they had one. Before that, probably 1992. But DNC already had their guy in 2000, 2004, 2016, 2020, and 2024.

Bernie might be the only guy since Obama that actually had organic support from Dem voters without the DNC machine.

He can do it but it would be a suit. Thats why i like elons idea of offering them severance they couldn't refuse.

The severance is to ensure they wont sue. Suing just over improper dismissal or procedure can be burdensome and expensive to pay off. If they take the severance that will include waiver of suit.

I would say THIS to her, "Fine, they're your problem now. And since you have such a soft spot for them, you can expect a steady delivery of them monthly. LIke a jelly of the month club, only instead of jelly, it's immigrants that we've vetted, but we need a place to send them, since the border areas are already stretched beyond capacity. Thanks for stepping up."

(and then I'd place a polymarket bet on her opponent, the next time she runs, because Sully at the end of the bar isn't going to take to it.)

Some of you may not be aware of this, but New Englanders, and Bostonians in particular, have occasionally been known to display some racist tendencies. Not ALWAYS though. Only when they SEE them (someone that isn't pasty white)
Then tell her we're going to build a wall around her state.
