Not sure if this was already posted (seems about every 15 minutes, this thread is 3 pages longer and I haven't read every post over the past 24 hours), but Georgetown Univ in DC set up 'Safety Suites' for students to deal with the election results. They were supplied with Legos, coloring books, milk and cookies so the poor, downtrodden snowflakes could feel safe and deal with the horrible outcome of the presidential election, assuming their candidate didn't win. What will these pansies do when a real crisis hits their lives? Cuddle up in the corner of the basement in the fetal position? How is this 'elite' university preparing its students to take on the world, persevere through hardships, cope when things don't go as planned, etc. when Georgetown sets up suites like this?
Would any conservative student (admittedly, probably not a lot at Georgetown and most would certainly not admit it openly if they were conservative) have used these suites if Harris had won?
I told everyone who asked that, if the election last night was without controversy and misconduct, if Harris had won, I'd been disappointed but she'd be my President and I would hope her presidency was wildly successful as our country needs a really good President about now. Leftists do not and will not ever feel that way. If their candidate didn't win, the President is illegitimate, they hope for utter failure of the administration, we must impeach the President, tell lie after lie to undermine his support, etc. Quite a stark difference in comportment between the two parties adherents.
