Actually...depleting the SOR helps to bring down gas prices due to higher levels of oil available in the world market.
That's why Biden released oil from the SOR following the Russian oil embargo in order to keep prices from skyrocketing.
Trump was the first Republican President in history to leave office with a net loss in the SOR. Dems have done that consistently since Clinton.

Wow. He used a typo SOR, instead of SPR, and while trying to sound knowledgeable about the subject, you used SOR 3 times, instead of SPR, which literally is in the first line of the article you.posted.

Village Idiot.

Strategic Oil Reserve/Strategic Petroleum Reserve.....Same thing fool.

It's crap and a slap in the face to any black people in the community.
It would be like a community in Germany voting to name their local high school after Adolph Hitler or one of his generals.
I'm sure the Jews in that community would be thrilled about that.

Civil War traitors and WW2 Nazi sh** belongs in a museum....so we can learn what not to do to our fellow human beings.
George Washington owned slaves and was a traitor.

Dwight Eisenhower fought for a segregated country.

Are their names on anything, educator?

Hyman -- whats your beef with Damon Thayer ?

Well, I find him to be a self-enriching, good old boy, crooked politician. I believe that he puts his personal/financial interests above the best interests of the state. He is adamantly opposed to legalization of marijuana and casino gambling while being heavily invested in the alcohol and gambling industries. He presents himself as a godly man when he is anything BUT (I'm not going to elaborate on this publicly, but if you want to message me, I will expand on it)

In short, I find him to be a disingenous POS, that is more concerned with "posturing" and advancing his personal interests than he is with moving this state forward. He's a boat anchor on progress, and frankly, an insufferable prick. He is the very embodiment of what is wrong with politics in this state.

I can keep going, but I think that's a pretty good start.

How much per share? And that’s good and all about owning 5% of the craft beer market, but I’d prefer my craft beer to be locally owned and produced, not sold out to a big conglomerate. But doesn’t mean there aren’t some good ones on the shelf at the liquor store those conglomerates.
COB yesterday, TLRY closed at $1.93 per share. Huge decline from 5-year high at $49.85, (May 2019) and all-time high of $150 on Oct 12, 2018. Speculative issue at worst. At least they earn $ (income) through weed and beverage sales. I welcome the diversification aspect. Meh, great candidate for penny stock day trading.

We all have our beer preferences. Agree, big beer sucks. No argument there. My preferences lean heavily craft, served as close to the brewery as humanly possible. One might easily infer TLRY is a BUD spin-off. Nevertheless, I really don't give a damn so long as product meets my requirements.

In my opinion, legalization solves more problems than it creates. Aside from reducing law enforcement and litigation headaches, economic fallout (i.e. Jobs) usually a plus. Of course increased "Driving Under Influence" cases, along with accompanying health effects, probably turning some states off to the idea.

President Trump withheld Congressionally appropriated aid to Ukraine unless they granted him a political favor. It's the definition of quid pro quo.

This is no joke — Trump continues to put his own personal, political interests ahead of the national interest. He must be impeached."

That was Candidate Joe Biden in October 2019.

Replace "Trump" with "Biden" and "Ukraine" with "Israel," and Joe Biden just incriminated himself, at least according to new Democrat standards for impeachment.

I think about it a little differently. I think the oil lobby likes that prices are high, especially since people are still buying gas. So why would they NOT make massive hay while the sun shines?
Oh I agree. I just said that in case anyone wants to give Biden/the Left credit for oil production. They have done what they can to stifle it, but luckily they have little control over most of it in the US.

Trump screwed up by not kicking the UN out of the US. Let them move their HQ to some Middle East shithole. The US shouldn’t spend a damn penny on them going forward.
So your belief is Trump will kick the UN out of the USA in his second term? Or is this another MAGA fantasy wish? Where have you seen that he plans that action? Thanks.

That's not a first term action, imo. Not enough people knew how corrupt they are. I think that's being revealed more under this admin. Unfortunately, this was the only way a lot of necessary backing would come around. People had their heads buried in the sand about so much before the last election
So you think more and enough people know about UN corruption now than 4 years ago for Trump to take action against the UN? I haven't heard a word from him on it this year - not that I listen much to him.

Other thing, can a President do this unilaterally? Given all the sh!t Biden has pulled w/o Congress approval, I suppose he could.

From Shinbone’s own article about oil production. Does anybody else see the problem?

“For the sixth consecutive year, the United States has maintained its position as the world's top oil producer, according to the Energy Information Administration (‘EIA’). In 2023, U.S. crude output reached a historic high, averaging 12.9 million barrels per day (‘bpd’), surpassing the previous record set in 2019. December alone saw a remarkable milestone, with production peaking at over 13.3 million bpd.”
The problem id that Sambortion skims only headlines, not learning that the text itself most often tells a different story. Headlines are for clicks. Sambo is quite simple-minded.

In ShamPeachment Round 1 isnt that what you and Pie Face Vindman accused Trump of doing in the phone call? We should impeach Biden immediately if the Dems are consistent. No?
Please show me where I ever supported Vindman's words. You are falsely accusing me of something that never happened. But that's typical here. You've joined the crowd.

Yes, Biden should be impeached over not sending Israel those authorized expenditure weapons. Regardless, MAGA should be happy these valued assets aren't going there but remaining in the USA. A double win.

I assume MAGA are also very happy with Biden 4-upping Trump's Chinese goods tariffs. A super America First move, right?
