Read my posts from yesterday or the last five+ years and you'll know that answer.

Still doesn't change the fact it was a charge. Prosecutors don't have to argue anything until trial. It isn't like a civil case where you have to lay out a case in discovery to beat summary judgment. In criminal cases defendants get discovery but no depositions. So the first time any prosecutor substantively does anything is at trial unless a defendant attacks the case via motion. Then the discussion is limited to those items. Looks pretty certain the defense never raised it or it would be gone.

Not sure what outlets you all are following that's giving out some of this information but it's no more accurate than the other side. Sounds like they're just looking for clicks too
Im watching lawyers discuss the trial live. They made the point that they tried to get it thrown out pretrial but the prosecution said they would lay out their evidence during the trial... and the judge let it stay in saying that it met the very low bar. They never brought it up during the trial and when the judge took it up after close they argued it again and they laid out the law and pointed out that Kyle was not in violation of any of the law. When the judge asked the prosecution if they disagreed with any of those facts they said "we do not".

They just wanted the narrative that he had an illegal gun for the murder charges. They knew he wasn't in possession of sbr. The point they made is that by not arguing any of the merits of that charge they admitted they knew it was junk.

I crossed state lines today. I felt like such a naughty boy.

Not really. To be honest, it didn't even occur to me that I'd crossed state lines today until giving it some thought tonight, because I do it every workday.

Anyone who says anything about Rittenhouse "crossing state lines," you know they don't know WTF they are talking about because it is irrelevant.

The amount of people that think Jacob Blake was unarmed and that he died just really goes to show how much these people really virtue signal.

I mean the NBA had a walk out and they postponed multiple games over a couple days because of Jacob Blake. You would think if it meant that much to them, they would know if the guy was dead or alive haha.

All of these people are so phony. And I cant tell if they're just getting worse and worse at hiding it, or if they really dont care that much about hiding it anymore. They know narrative is more powerful than the truth and the facts. They can be called out in public about a blatant lie, doesnt matter. Because if they create a strong enough narrative (basically just a white vs black narrative), that is all that matters.

Everybody has opinions, so just a grain of salt. A defamation lawyer I listened to said any comments made about what the state had brought against him were fair game.

If the state said he was a murderer, you could say he was a murderer. So, any claim made by the prosecutor would be fair game for you to regurgitate publicly.

That's what's different than Nick Sandmann. No charges were ever brought against the boy. Every malicious statement could be gone after. Everyone Sandmann's team went after settled, right?

Now, calling an unknown 17 year old a white supremacist for ratings, clicks, or votes...
We shall see. The state making charges is one thing. People on national TV and Twitter making claims and calling him a murderer is not the same.
I hope they all have to pay and pay to the point they lose their belongings because they were advocating for an innocent teenager to be found guilty for no other reason than he was a white kid.
They lied about the events and how they happened.

I crossed state lines today.

The original discussion was about it not appearing in a pleading and that just wasn't accurate. It isn't unusual at all for judges to defer rulings until the close of the evidence.

At the close of the evidence, the prosecutor didn't argue against it being dismissed which was the only halfway sane thing that office did all trial long..

Top Dem tweets Rittenhouse statement containing misinformation; adviser tweets 'no justice, no peace

The chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee responded to the Kyle Rittenhouse "not guilty" verdict with a statement that included significant factual errors, and a senior adviser to the committee tweeted "no justice, no peace." Rittenhouse was acquitted on all charges stemming from the fatal shooting of two men during the violent riots in Kenosha, Wisc. last summer in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
"It’s disgusting and disturbing that someone was able to carry a loaded assault rifle into a protest against the unjust killing of Jacob Blake, an unarmed Black man, and take the lives of two people and injure another - and face absolutely no consequences," DCCC chairman Democratic Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney said in a statement Friday.
Jacob Blake was paralyzed by the shooting, not killed, and was in fact armed with a knife. The police officer who responded to the domestic disturbance call that led to Blake's shooting was not charged either by the state or the federal government after investigations.

I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
I didn't know that Kyle's Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
I didn't know that Joseph Rosenbaum knocked him down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, a felon in possession of firearm, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater.
I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.

Amen.

😂 God I hate the GOP. This is how you end up with Obama/McCain Obama/Romney situation- effed either way. But here we go, just the tone deaf shit.
This reminds me of what Mike Pence once said “I’m a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order”.

I only vote for the GOP because their platform is more closely aligned with my convictions and values. In many ways they’re just about as bad as the Dims.

The media is an enemy of the people of America and peddle the FBI and DOJ's lies and misinformation. They also hide facts and that is as dangerous as telling lies

There is a place in Kentucky where you can be in Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri all within 5 minutes. I think we lock all those people up. There should be a place where Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee are the same way or even closer.
I was in that location Sunday, with a weapon on my way to Missouri.

He pulled that gun after two people had already been shot dead by Kyle.
That's because he saw that they failed in their attempt to kill Kyle so he decided to use a more direct approach and try shoot the kid. I mean, Kyle was running from him trying to avoid more attacks. The two people he shot were already in trouble for attacking women and children. Kyle being a child himself had no other recourse or would you have preferred he just let them kill him. Skate boards are deadly weapons too, just ask the man who was killed at a Starbucks in California recently. Well, go after Kyle first like you eluded to in an earlier post and then ask the man from Starbucks personally after Kyle finishes with you.
