This is the biggest problem. When Trump is finally forced out, it’ll be almost too late to provide any type of transition or handoff, meaning the Biden administration will be behind in that respect. So to the MAGA morons on this board- I know OAN is telling you he can still win, but don’t you think this is a bad thing? Or is owning the libs the only thing that matters anyways, country be damned.
They should divert all resources that would’ve been used to transition into quelling the coming mob of murderous angry leftists.

EVEN IF HE WASN'T. The fake president gonna take office and suddenly everyone scraps their plans and whatnot, suddenly we gotta start from scratch? People a lot smarter and capable at their jobs will be getting the vaccine out no matter what. Biden and them just want to politically manipulate things to their advantage. Right now, their biggest political issue is convincing the nation he actually won a fair and square election, so they're all in on this "TRUMP WONT CONCEDE, TRUMP WONT MEET WITH BIDEN, ETC ETC" nonsense....and nobody actually cares, it doesn't matter.
Also hilarious all Biden has talked about is Trump doesn't have a clue, he's got the Covid plan. Maybe biden needs to transfer his covid plan to Trump?
Also, the vaccine ain't coming when they say it will. This transition nonsense is a great opportunity to drag things out longer.

And, because of all this we should tell a record 80 million Americans and 306 electoral votes that their votes don't count because of this selective, unverifiable, unpresentable, court rejected non-evidence that the losing 73 million loser voters and a scrawny 232 electoral votes want for their candidate because of all the roundly debunked internet posts and tweets they saw? They ask us to take their word for it. Oh, and the main guy leading the strategy is currently charged with felony fraud and is awaiting trial, another key player was just released from prison for 7 felony convictions by a presidential pardon from the very guy he is currently cheating for. We won't even talk about the lead attorney, Rudy.

I wonder what the denizens of this thread would have thought about the "totalitarian" actions our country took during World War II? Mandatory conscription, rationing, and so forth? In short, unusual and difficult times require unusual solutions. We can debate the need for "lock down" restrictions and so forth, but suggesting that taking any such action flies in the face of the founding principles of the country is ludicrous.
There was a declaration of war, the enemy was clear and present, they were marching across the world.
People have no problem sacrificing, when it’s justified.

Benjamin Franklin said this. Forcing your citizens to be locked in their homes until the government says it's safe enough to come out, is the definition of taking away someone's liberty. If you think there is nothing wrong with the police telling people they aren't allowed outside for basic things like walking their dogs or exercising, then go to Australia where they're doing that. That is the complete opposite of freedom and liberty. That is taking away people's freedoms for a little "temporary safety".

DOH! The wayne county board after they certified the results on tuesday night also passed a resolution that the certification was now binding and could not be further changed. The 2 morons voted in favor. The state board has already said the results are now final and the state will certify on Monday morning.
Kinloch said on Thursday that the county certification date of Nov. 17 is a definitive deadline and that board members’ votes cannot be changed after the fact. The GOP officials sent their affidavits to the county, but the action stops there. They have not filed any lawsuits to try to force the county to call a new meeting.
“There is no further action that can be taken in regards to the certification,” Kinloch told CNN.
Kinloch also shared that at the Tuesday night meeting, the board unanimously passed a resolution that would waive any future reconsideration, further discrediting the actions of Palmer and Hartmann.

But the argument is continuously present on this board as Beshear and others violating the constitution by infringing on "freedoms". But now it looks as though people admit that's okay if the circumstances justify it (world war, for example). Who gets to make that decision?
