It's absolutely disgusting. Luckily, most red states, with GOP governors, won't let it happen again. Unluckily, I live in the only red state with a GOP governor in the whole country, where it will happen. I will just go across the river, for restaurants and bars, unless Dandy Andy shuts it down again as well.

Texas will never turn blue. They said the same thing about Florida 20 years ago, when Gore almost won (or, maybe he really did, who knows), and now Florida swung 3.5 to the GOP in 2020 from 2000.
What did happen, is that Ohio and Iowa went red, for good, and WI, MI, and PA are next.

Short of a cure and complete eradication, I think we're probably a few years at least from max capacity anything. Bars, theaters, air travel, cruises, concerts, theme parks, barbershops, hotels, restaurants, gyms, etc...
I think social distancing and masks will be around much longer than that, even in a cured post covid world. I just feel like it's been branded in the minds of folks and become a part of popular social culture.
Covid testing, vaccines, and treatments will be a boondoggle for some companies. The virus will eventually be normalized, accepted...
