I was torn between her and a third party vote, and I went third party. I had a hard time swallowing a vote for perpetuating an American dynasty.

I was pretty dead set on voting Dem this time around if anyone except Warren or Sanders got the nom. Warren would’ve pushed me to another third party vote, and Sanders will 100% push me to Trump.

This right here perfectly describes every decent minded democrat I know. They have zero desire to vote for trump and hate him, but they are fully aware hes the lesser of 2 evils (by a lot) vs sanders. They hate trump, but they're downright scared (rightfully so) of sanders.

This "movement" is being driven by 20 something ignorant kids with zero real world experience or education.

I voluntarily went without it when I was younger, for the same reason.

I read the article. I highly suspect this article is being excerpted or the actual interview question redacted. If not then as you stated it's a smart person talking outside his field or just plain hypocrisy.
