you misunderstand if you believe our military=govt. they are both simply made up of people. our military will not follow the orders of politicians and turn on our own people. if anything, that type of command will lead our military to turn on the govt. those boys and girls in uniform are primarily made up of people like the conservatives in this thread. they aren't turning their weapons on us and the idiots in Washington know this. they might be stupid, but they aren't that stupid. yet

Early models showed a low probability of tropical winds, never hurricane force winds in Alabama. Trump was briefed on the hurricane on the day he tweeted about it and at that point Alabama had been removed from all models.
Bill, my employer's HQ is in Tampa, we have offices in 49 states (none in Wisconsin) including the state capitals for all 49 of those states as well as others. Hurricane updates were updated hourly advising those employees what they should do to remain safe. Time was given to secure homes...etc. Not even our office in Tallahassee, FL expected anything at any point. Hell, we had provisions to relocate some essential staff in Tallahassee because it was out of the path.
Trump got corrected and couldn't stand it so he makes up shit to try and justify his incompetence. He even continued the show today with his doctored map.
If he simply had left the correction alone we aren't here. It's his constant need to prove he is right even when he is clearly wrong. It's trying to make other people take the fall for his shortcomings.
There was no "fake news", there was only an insecure little man who must always be praised.
He doesn't read, doesn't listen to his advisors... he should know that if he says something wrong, stupid or false that it will be reported. Maybe that should be a clue to him to listen, read and think about what he says and does.

Made me laugh out loud. The irony is rich with that one. I hate to break it to him but I don’t (nor do most stable people) give two shits what Trump tweeted about praying for people. I do care that he is getting judges through, rolling back taxes, rolling back regulations. Trump can be the biggest douche in the world but if he keeps doing what he is doing, I will take that all day over dumbasses pretending to be Native American, dumbasses not understanding how the filibuster works, over a dumbass who could be in early onset, over a dumbass who wants socialism etc. But horror of all horrors Trump tweeted out to keep a state in your prayers.
