While you are being critical of Trump's spending, let's be brutally honest about it. It really doesn't matter who is the in the WH. Our national deficit has gone up significantly due to the Trump, Obama, and Bush II. It isn't just a republican or democrat spending problem. The last president to make a serious effort was Clinton. Without looking it up, I believe he balanced the budget in one of his 8 years. We can sit here and blame just one party, but they are both responsible

I think you’ll find a lot more willingness to cut spending on the right side of the aisle. The Democrat presidential candidates are currently in competition to see who can promise the most “free” stuff.

Slick Willie may be a dirtbag, pedophile, and rapist, but he was 5000 miles to the right of the current dem candidates. What a bunch of assclowns.

Both also have a daughter who teaches at the same school in Tennessee.

20+ young people with the @sunrisemvmt interrupted the meeting, singing the union protest song “Which Side Are You On?”

The twitter comments are precious.

Every commenter there is sold that the world's gonna end in 11.5 years and it'll be too late in five years to make a difference.

Nancy knows what sells and it isn't socialist NGD. The Dems are going to stick to Russia, Racist, and Recession until election day.

I'm far from a hardcore liberal, but even if I were, I can't really think of anything Trump has done that harms law abiding Americans.

Policy wise - taxes are lower. He's done nothing to take away any freedoms currently extended to people. I think despite all the hubbub around the SCOTUS appointments, he made 2 solid choices there. I don't feel any more or less safe than I used to. In terms of the bad stuff? Mass shootings were happening on the regular before Trump and I expect they will continue after him. If I were an ardent supporter of his, I'd probably be at least a little miffed that illegal immigration has gotten worse since he took office seeing as how he promised to completely eliminate it. And yes, I understand that he has some barriers there (no pun intended.)

Do I think he acts like a 5th grader? Yes. Does he have an immeasurable ego that needs constant stroking and reassurance? Yes. Do I think his Twitter rants are funny or productive? No. But none of those things have a tangible affect on my life. Overall, I can't complain about the job he has done.
So I ribbed you about your TV show post being dumb, this one in my opinion is spot on. Very good assessment. I think Trump would do better if he wasn't constantly attacked by the media. That said, he should rise above all that and act like an adult. He'd make his opponents look even worse if he did. If Twitter didn't exist he'd probably be one of my favorite presidents.

I disagree; the last 20 years have shown us that neither side is in the business of cutting overall spending. Both sides are interested in cutting certain things that aren't priorities to their party, but overall, spending and the deficit grow...

Rashida Tlaib keeps saying her grandmother lives in oppression and misery in Beit-Ur al-Fauqa, but in fact this Palestinian village is one of the wealthiest in the West Bank and apparently Tlaib's relatives drive BMW and Mercedes cars

Ofcourse they do... only above average wealth allows socialist delusions to take root in the first place, then used to exploit the naivete and envy of people like those that post in this thread

Things I understand about this:

-World markets only produce so much soybean(increases/decreases are in baby steps).

-China's demand hasn't changed, just who their buying them from.

-China is buying from Brazil.

-Brazil has their customers as we have ours. Brazilian brokers are buying US soybeans and reselling to China.

It's not like Brazil can add another factory to up production. If Brazil supplies China solely by itself, then their regular customers would be up for grabs.

Things I don't understand:

-How does price stay flat(there certainly isn't freefall) while adding another layer/middleman?

From one of the zombie Gawker sites just last week

The rumors are true: Popeyes' fried chicken sandwich is better than Chick-fil-A's

I find Chick-fil-A's politics repugnant, but they’re also close to my house, their sandwiches and waffle fries are tasty, and my 3-year-old thinks the same. It weighs on my mind, believe me, but that triangulation of convenience, efficiency, and quality of food takes precedent once you become a parent.

And the first comment:

Kevin, I respect you and you’re probably my favorite contributor across all of GMG, including your video appearances.

That being said, I’m not sure that “once you become a parent” is when you should be MORE willing to flex/ignore your morals. Feels like that’s the time that you should be focused on living your moral values clearly and proudly every day.

If it wasn’t for Twitter you’d never know his thoughts or plans. You’d only have misinformation to work with.

He is a lying thin skinned bully. He takes credit for things he had nothing to do with. He's dishonest. He has shit on countries we have been allies with for decades. He bends over for Russia and NK and worships dictators. Because he wants to be one. His father gave him all the money he needed and he still was a shit businessman. Me mouths off about buying Greenland. Sets up a meeting. They say no thanks and he pouts up cancels the meeting and shits on them. Just one example. He's a child. And when he is drooling in his oatmeal I will smile.

America first.

Not sure if you know this but soybeans aren't grown in factories. And Brazil has been setting growth and export record for soy the last 10 years. Last it fell slightly because of drought. Half the Amazon is on fire right now because farmers are trying to land grab for more soy and cattle. Most of the US soy is rotting in warehouses which is why they are on Trump welfare now. Brazil isn't reselling US soy to China. Because they can charge a premium to China they are mass exporting their crop and importing a small amount from the US for domestic use at half the price.
