Also if it’s just a matter of th filthy rich paying for it, there are plenty of those that are liberal why don they just handle it for us?

Something like this.

School? Can’t you go to school pretty damn cheap already, couple years at community college then to state school? Too expensive? Then subsidize it more get rid of wasteful administrative spending. If you really want free school, you know what you can do? You can learn German and then apply to a German university, they’ll take you and pay for you provided you speak German well enough and can pass entrance reqs. Those kickass dorms I saw posted they got at Uk nowadays, yeah you won’t get anything like that tho sorry, that’s not what “free” gets you brah

Totally correct. German collegiate dormitories are more like German military (Bundeswehr) barracks. Communal showers at at one or, if lucky, both ends of the floors. None in the rooms. Perhaps a sink in each shared room. No closets. Very spartan and minimal.

in Munich right now. first trip to Germany. I think Austin is much closer to the truth.

oh yeah, any recs? castle is being renovated and i will go to haufbranhaus? sp? tomorrow.
dumbasses that sent me here do not own a calendar, so 7 day vacation (or just not spend Easter with my family) and ask me to stay through next weekend.

IMO, if they were successful, there would be civil war, mass chaos. They'd have no one to blame other than themselves...fabricating charges against the best POTUS we've had since RR. Their very own people have set the new precedent when it comes to protesting. Should they incite Trump supporters (half the country), the limp-wristed rebels that showed up during Trump's first days will look like pre-schoolers compared to what we'll see from a Trump rebellion.
The left coast west of the interstate. People east of the cascades don't like the idiots on the coast
Maybe that's where this country is headed...give them the left coast and northeastern states.

Hofbräuhaus is wonderful. Great atmosphere. The band seemingly plays about 5-6 sets, breaks, and then plays the exact same 5-6 sets over and over the entire evening.. Rinse and repeat. Good food.

Try hitting up Schneider & Sohn brewery pub, not far from Hofbräuhaus. Get Tap 5 (Meine Hopfenweisse), which is an 8.2% hoppy wheat. Killer.

Olympia Park, a modern-day location of the 1972 Summer Olympics, is worth a visit on a good day. Neues Rathaus looks cool. BMW and Deutsches museums are always good, as are Marienplatz and Englisher Garten. Important to remember Munich was hit hard during WW2, but rebuilt. They are still finding unexploded bombs this day.

Enjoy. I hope to return to Germany in 2020.

In the meantime we are still spending $32 million an hour on war and asking "How can we pay for education?" Other countries do it and they are not as wealthy as we are. So I think we both see the answer. IT a matter of priorities this government responsibilities are to its citizens FIRST AND FOREMOST.
Agree. Our nation's first priority must be to protect our citizens, thus defense spending should be #1. I
'm not justifying the current war. However, I am opposed to pulling out (which MY potus proposed). The former potus pulled out of a war and what he called the "b-team" grew into a formidable foe (isis).
Education is provided but can be improved with the same money already being spent. Plus, there are ways individuals can go to college if they want without government assistance. Security requires gov involvement.
As I previously stated, as the world's superpower, it is necessary that we get involved in some wars: first those that threaten our security or way of life, secondly those that involve oppression of innocents. I believe that's our moral responsibility. That costs money. Other countries don't have that responsibility or at least don't accept it.

Are you a fan of the Yemen veto?

Eff Romney and eff McCain’s corpse. Those guys perfectly represent what voters hate about the Republican Party establishment.
And, that’s where the Republican Party currently resides . . . cannibalize your own if they even sniff middle of the road policy beliefs and don’t march goose step, throw up their right hand, and “Heil Trump” in the process.

The little I've read:
Not for saudi blockades depriving civilians of aide but at the same time, the other side is funded/supported by Iran. IMO, it's damned if you do/damned if you don't.
Like I said, don't know a lot about the situation.

Generally speaking, when it comes to civil wars, I believe we should set some humanitarian ground rules, secure the borders by air for the purpose of keeping other nations from interfering and tell both sides to fight it out. If, as was the case of S Hussein, when we know of inhumane practices, we should be involved.
