I can tell you I was a sophomore in high school sitting in class when another teacher walked in to tell us a plane just hit the twin towers. Didnt know it was a terrorist attack yet. Learned that in French class shortly thereafter.

I'm not a member of the 1% but the economy is doing just fine for me. I don't need your help. I have a good job with a stable company in the restaurant industry which is fueled by this booming economy. The owners of the company are firmly in the 1% (and African American who chose not to play the victim and race card all their life) and their thirst for more is whats fueling the companies growth and creating opportunities for new jobs regularly.

I got to thinking the other day about one of the consequences of Obamacare that isn't being talked about much. It's also part of the reason some people have 2-3 jobs that is being brought up by the liberal left so much. They actually created part of that problem.
Obama Care changed the definition of "Full Time employment" to 30 hours. That meant employees working more than 30 hour/week had to be offered benefits. That caused many employers to limit work weeks for Part-time employees to 28 hours so they didn't exceed that 30 hour limit. While on one hand it could be said that it created jobs because companies now had to have more part-timers to make up for the shortened work weeks, those employees were making less and forced to find multiple jobs to make up for the lost hours.
I just bring this up because I see the impact of it with my Kids and my girlfriends kids. My son who is in College was looking for a summer job and theoretically could work 40 hours or more during the summer, but any job he takes will limit him to 28 hours max. Therefore he may have to take two jobs or do other odd jobs in the meantime to generate as much income as he can for the summer.
