No the left isn't nuts at all.

Apparently whoever tweeted this knows nothing about perspective. What a clown.

Honestly I'm shocked someone didn't tweet something along the lines of "Donald and Melania laugh at tornado victims" or some dumb shit like that about the first picture. I really hate Twitter. It has created a platform for a large number of idiots to become relevant.

This thread is so much better since I put Levi on ignore. Now it is like adults talking in here versus a middle school discussion on Fortnite :D

I don't even so much mind the rhetoric - everyone has a right to an opinion. Levi just completely nuked the thread with dumbass memes. My right thumb was getting sore from scrolling past them all. That could be a new name for an ailment - like tennis elbow or swimmer's knee - "Levi thumb."

One woman in the video said she was concerned for the future of the mother. That right there is why abortion should be illegal. No concern for a new born. What's next? Kill them all the way up to 18 if things don't go right? No, kill the mother and anyone who sides with her. Send them to God and let him judge them.

There was some crazy lady (I believe in Europe but don’t hold me to that) years ago arguing that it should be legal to “abort” your child until age 2.

Clearly people like her are the looniest of looney toons... but several of our own politicians are getting closer to her line of thinking. And that’s frightening.

The party has gone too far left. I saw a gallup (I think) poll that said 54% of democrats consider themselves "liberal." In 1994 that number was 25%. When people like AOC and the anti semite Muslim are winning elections, you know it's getting crazy.

Yeah, I remember something on that as well but thought it was a man. Who knows. could be both in today's world.

There’s certainly extremes on both sides... but the extreme on the left is becoming the main stream of the democrat party. There could be some good to come out of some liberal policies... but they’ve gone so far left, they’re sending everyone else right.

Only in America can an illegal immigrant enter the country, make us pay for his food, shelter, give him free healthcare and pay for his college education....and all for never working a day.
I've heard a lot of bs about illegals, but them not working might be the dumbest yet.

It's hilarious that Republicans complain about perceived anti-any group of people behavior when the president literally ran on a full ban on Muslim immigration.

It's actually good evidence of the "slippery slope" argument. Pretty much everything liberals wanted, they've gotten. Abortion is legal, gay marriage is mainstream, etc - but that's not good enough. Now they want late term and in some cases post birth abortion, they want infinite genders, they want illegals to be able to vote, etc. I'm indifferent when it comes to guns although I think we could probably do for some intelligent discussion on regulations. I see now how ardent 2A defenders reject any discussion because it will ultimately lead to the left asking for more and more until the 2A no longer exists.

Exactly. The past shows the whole ‘give them an inch’ saying is true.

We have entire states that consider themselves sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. They literally harbor murderers and child rapists in their states rather than turn them into authorities. This didn’t start until Trump decided to try to make a serious effort to stop illegal immigration.

I’m all for compromise in situations that can be compromised (the above not being one) but you can’t trust them to be satisfied with any compromise. To the left politicians, a compromise is nothing more than a step closer to what they really want.

Bullshit. There never was a "Muslim ban". It was a restriction of a handful (7 IIRC) Muslim countries with security concerns. I believe Obama even highlighted the concern for those countries.

lol

"Jews are 1% of the population and control like half the US so I hope Omar just keeps bashing away. Politicians can't take a shit without first kissing some Jews ass."

vs

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on."

Damn dude! You have had an epiphany! My main argument against same sex marriage was that they could receive all the protections they needed with a civil contract and that if we conceded that it would just lead to the next thing. Sure enough it didn't take long before men could use the women's restroom, gender is fluid, etc...

It is easy to anticipate the left's next move because they are a very simple people ruled by emotion. They have encroached on the first amendment to the point that any speech that is not in line with their mantra is considered hate speech. They refuse even hear any voice but their own and yet claim they are for diversity.

Give them an inch on 2A and they will undoubtedly take 10 miles. There is a clear end in mind with their evil ways.

?
FYI, I was responding to a post decrying stagnant wages and one of the contributors to their position. It's something that has been going on for almost thirty years. Don't get me wrong: If you think I don't recognize the phenomenal improvement in the economy since President Trump took office, you are wrong. On the other hand, it's fact that jobs once filled by new college grads started being done abroad via internet with the advent of new technology.
There's no reason that anyone should be on welfare. There's no good reason anyone should be unemployed.
How has the economy phenominaly improved since Trump? Job growth is exactly the same as the 4 years before him. Gdp growth is the same and going down. Wage growth has gone up like .2%. healthcare and cost of living are going up. Debts & deficits are skyrocketing. The economy is essentially parallel to Obama's 2nd term. White people like to feel it's better because the black guy is gone but nothing has changed. And Somehow the hardcore anti immigration guy has managed to increase border crossings.

Truth. Everything they go for is expanded once gotten.

You're quite slow to the party, but catching on.

You point out clearly why those that say the two sides should compromise are ignorant fools because such "compromise" always moves in the direction of leftist change.

I would say that the republican side is clearly more reasonable. I can't think of a single issue that has moved to the far right end of the spectrum, whereas several issues have and continue to move toward the far left.

As JStaff pointed out, there are certainly extremes on both sides, but the far left is becoming more mainstream, while the far right is still a fringe group.
