What solutions has he offered besides just saying they need to cut spending? Yes, we all know they need to cut spending but if the votes aren't there in a very slim majority and then you have to deal with a filibuster in the Senate then he is just grandstanding. As far as I know the plan is to take care of his concerns in Sept. Nobody likes it but that is the cards they have right now.
Offering separate bills to avoid pork and pet project are exactly what most everyone begged for the last forever. The separate bills achieve exactly that.
Problem is Congress are never going for it because they need handouts to their donors.
Seems like the globalists have lit the globalist bat signal to tell everyone to try and pile new tariffs on the US all at once. I guess they think this will drive down Trump’s popularity when he puts retaliatory tariffs on.

Pretty sure Trump and his people knew going into this that all of these countries who have been screwing us forever are not going to take too kindly into the US wanting our companies and jobs to come back here along with paying their "fair share" in tariffs. Seems they have still not figured out who they are dealing with. Trump has a lot more cards to play with than just tariffs. How about military aid for starters since the US protects all of these aholes. Without the US, all of their economies would collapse. Slapping the hand that feeds them is not a good strategy.

Back in the day I loved, and played a LOT of golf. Came close to a major college scholarship. Not only the thrill you mentioned, but I always LOVED the beauty and serenity while out playing on the course. Didn't make a lot of difference if it was a country club or a small public course. But, basically gave up the game when we had kids. Took too much time.
Over the years I've known two guys who played on tour. Interesting stories. Got a distant relative now (cousin's grandson? or something) who is playing on the Canadian tour. Kind of like Class A maybe of the PGA. Haven't checked for some time so don't know how he's doing.
While streaming some political type videos on YT, I've seen some Vivek commercials for Gov of Ohio the last few days.

If they had east or west pipelines, still more cost effective to send to US. US refineries designed/set up for their lower grade crude. (I love US Chem E's.) Most other places in the world or not. So US imports cheaper crude from Can & sends pricier US crude elsewhere. It's a good deal for US.
And that's why Trump wants to put tariffs on it. LOL.
