Another thing about stories like this I don't get. I always see Twitter types getting all outraged about stories like this. As a parent, I think you're a shitty parent if in the real world you had a teacher do something like this. It means A) You take no responsibility for your kid's education and B) You lack the communication skills to explain to your kids the situation & your beliefs.
But to these people it's not really about their kids. It's about other kids and waging this RPG culture war on "the left". You people need stories like this to justify your entire world view. In my world, however, back in reality, we uhh... just parent.
