Some people in the "know", take that for what it's worth, are predicting Biden will step down so Kamala can become the first woman president. Not happening. Biden hates that chick. Hey, granted the first female president would be historic but damn, Kamala? How embarrassing for women and this county if that bimbo makes history. It needs to be somebody like Condi Rice. Someone with intelligence, well spoken, etc.. American history deserves much better.
If his bitterness about the coup is what some claim, I can't see him doing that.

I think the Senate would have to go in recess for 10 or more days next January/February to accomplish this, which is why Trump wanted Scott to be the Leader. If Thune goes forward with this, it will likely be challenged in the courts. In 2014, Obama appointed 3 democrat members of the NLRB via recess appointments and was sued over it. The Supreme Court found the appointments unlawful because the Senate was not truly in recess and not for long enough. So neither Trump nor Biden have used recess appointments since. For the Senate to go into a long recess just so Gaetz (and others) can sail through would be something else.
Yeah, because we'd rather have filth like Merrick Garland for four more years. Trump wanted a corrupt justice system blown to bits and oh boy will Gates do just that. Sorry about your luck. Corruption is apparently cool to you. OHHH, that's right, you like that Democrats hound Republicans and ruin their lives. That's in the past, big boy.

Not sure if I have seen this question answered before. But can/does the President hire the director of the Secret Service? Seems like Dan Bongino would be who Trump should hire for that...assuming the President can do so. Kind of surprised I haven't seen any talk about it...but maybe it's because Trump can't.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA so on one hand, you're SUUUUUUUUUURE it's gonna be "grandmas waaaah waaaaah" but on the other hand, it's just pure speculation.

Does your brain sprain itself twisting into pretzels like that? LOL moron
You even responded to this post I made saying the opposite.
That’s basically what I think will be the extent of it too. I’m talking about this thread’s(and Stephen Miller’s) wet dream of deporting every single undocumented.

The head of the SS reports to the head of Homeland Security. But the President can appoint the SS Director without Congressional approval.

For my fellow patriots, my father passed three hours after my above post.

Yesterday was brutal. Lots of tears. But he was a believer and there was comfort in that.

If you still got your parents, hug them a little tighter today and tell them you love them. Life is short and precious.
Dam. So sorry for your loss. God be with you during this time.

He doesn't want it.

Let me walk this back. He doesn't want Secret Service. I don't know what his thoughts on the FBI are.
How ironic that the same ones screaming bloody murder about government control because of being asked to wear a mask during the "plandemic" are perfectly ok with a President taking over every government agency in America, placing yes men in charge of those agencies, and suggesting the creation of a tribunal to have complete control over the military generals.
This is exactly how democracy dies.

Um, dipshit, that is what every president does.

They put their people in place.

Cry more, Village Idiot.

Jcps and Fayette are definitely the two worst offenders. I agree the amendment would have little/no impact for rural kids, but we'll never know.

Maybe if it passed it would give some parents the ability to move somewhere with better education options. Maybe if it passed there would he the financial incentive to open a small magnet school in these regions where the best and brightest could attend.

We'll never know. Instead we'll get what we have which is the brightest being held back by the rest which are a combination of kids born to mothers actively using drugs at the time of birth or with families that never inspire to get off the draw, which includes making sure their kids stay "dumb" so they can get an additional check.
JCPS just screwed the magnet school kids that ride the bus in Louisville earlier this year. Their brilliant bus plan for this year was to cut bus service from 14,000 kids. That’s right…14,000 kids in the JCPS system that rode the bus last year were not allowed to do so this year. Other regular public school students were cut out as well but amongst the 14,000 are ALL of the magnet school kids in Louisville. Not a single magnet student has bus service this year. Huge civil rights law suit being filed against JCPS over that deal.

Prior to this year’s debacle…

Two years ago JCPS paid a Boston company $1 million to come up with a bus plan. They effed it up royally & some kids were getting to school almost an hour late and some of them not getting home at night until 7 or 8pm.

UPS execs had offered to come up with a plan for about half that amount but JCPS scoffed at that offer & went with the more expensive Boston company. Turns out the Boston company had screwed up two other school systems’ bus routes in the past few years. Obviously JCPS didn’t do their due diligence to vet that company.

Heads should roll.
