Are you saying the 2017 tax cuts were not pro-business? I can’t think of a single entrepreneur or business owner that would concur with that statement. What do you mean?On the other hand, Trump is not really "pro business" in the traditional Republican sense.
See, you don’t know either. Just pure speculation. All of this is going to be in the implementation. As a practical matter, i think everyone understands they are going to basically take the approach laid out by jd Vance time and again. Lets start with securing our border, stopping insane handouts, then deport the criminals and go from there. Once all thats done, lets start with the next wave and so on.
Thats basic easy common sense for anyone not actively trying to destroy the country. Thats literally what people voted for.
I do think we'll end up with a scenario where many end up getting to stay and become citizens but it wont be amnesty. Neither I nor hardly anyone else will have a problem giving law abiding, hard working people the opportunity to earn their citizenship through reasonable time and steps. They just need to be identified, maintain gainful employment, and as part of assimilation to learn English.
Again, this is only radical to the insane far left who were literally actively trying to destroy the country.
The new Senate, staring Jan. 3, can start hearings & even vote on confirmations before Jan. 20. That way, the new Prez can formally accept them immediately after inauguration & have something of a functioning cabinet Jan. 20. You can actually see this happening when Trump leaves the front of the Capitol after his speech & enters the building with Senate Leaders.I believe the nominations are not 'formal' until inauguration at which time the Senate takes them up...start hearings...then vote.
No recess then for months. So I have no idea when they would try a recess appointment.
That explains a lot when it comes to Pelosi.
RFK
Actress - I think anyway.
Imagine the downside of hanging around the smartest dude in the world.Musk seems to be relishing this new found political atmosphere. Constant companion of Trump for the last week or so.
...and yet some them still wonder why they lost.
