I think the left couldn't buy a sense of humor right now, but that still wasn't near his best. It was more funny that the crowd was virtually silent and he went on unfazed. Sent a few daggers through their cold, liberal hearts early and the audience never recovered while he was out there. I stopped at Texas Roadhouse first and got the voucher for a free meal. Then hit Little Caesars and got the free lunch. Ate a slice and put it in the fridge for later. From what I've read, Sotomayor has some serious health problems and it was pretty much a given that, had Kamala won, she would have stepped down at some point to keep the Dems seat on the SCOTUS. Now, who knows? Sotomayor has been a lightweight from a legal standpoint and almost always votes the party (Dem) line on every issue. She has, a few times, sided with common sense but, a lot more often, has concocted tortured reasons for concluding what opinion she arrived at seemingly making up stuff on the spot or stretching some precedent beyond the reasonable breaking point to get to the decision she wanted from the outset.
