Trump is definitely a little less Republican than many of our current Republicans. Don’t see how that is arguable. And that is why he’s been elected twice. I guess it all depends how you define Republican.
That's essentially what I mean. Trump is a conservative, but the Republican leadership hasn't exactly embraced him. Trump is the only "Republican" that tries to actually do the things that Republican voters have said they wanted done.
Or.... he is holding pubs back from being a super majority. If we ran Jeb against Hillary we'd probably have zero conservative justices. Moderates do not like the Lyndsey and Mitch types. They make people vote for democrats. Right before the mid terms in '22 Lyndsey put forward an abortion bill.
