We have an area director in one of our markets that was at a new site we will be converting into a restaurant. It’s an old bank building. She’s married to this little Mexican dude. And I mean little literally. He’s barely five foot tall. Like jockey size. She’s easily twice his size. But I digress. We were talking about what to do with the safe door. She said she wanted it when we demo it. Her little Mexican husband would come get it. She wants it for her gun safe. This building was built in the 70’s so it wasn’t one of those gigantic three ton doors, but it’s still a heavy ass door.

Yeah it was a photo op, but here’s the difference. Those workers weren’t paid actors. Those guests weren’t paid actors. Unless you consider them getting free food as being paid. All those thousands of people lining the streets leading to it weren’t bussed in and paid to pretend to be a rabid supporter. Tell us why you put your confidence in someone who can’t even conduct an interview without rigid stipulations. Why she can’t field random questions and that every question has to be screened and prepared. Are you content having a puppet as President? The state put out some memo about the election, early voting dates, polling places and such. They just had to add in the caveats the voting machines are not tied to the internet in any way. OK, probably something better left unsaid, else you look guilty trying to state something people have genuine concerns about to try and reassure the voters. It does quite the opposite.
