We need immigrants and immigration. But the process is in dire need of improvement.
On those points I think the majority of Americans can agree.
Democrats DESPERATELY want to appear reasonable to others. Why? Because IF they can fool just ONE person, then they are perfectly content to remain couched in their ignorant and/or neglectful state.
That is the essence of the success of social media. For stupidity to remain victorious in the life of one Dem, they just have to find another D that agrees with them, or better yet a registered R that accepts their lies without calling them out on them. Thats all the excuse they need.

No, we first need to start by incentivizing our own citizens to join the work force, which has declined under Biden.
So tired of people afraid to tell it like it is. Any person running for office or otherwise that speaks or votes this way is a threat to this republic. Equal under the law applies to non-criminal citizens. The Democrats who would excoriate Trump if he said this will be quiet as a church mouse about this where it matters most.
I'm sensing that the Iranian government is colluding with Biden-Harris to undermine our democracy with their hacking of the Trump campaign. Our sleepwalking media is more worried about disproving Haitians eating / not eating pets in Springfield then they are about who has facilitated two assassination attempts on Trump's life. It's beyond pathetic.
Ego, maybe, but after all the utter BS he’s been put through the last 9 years, including two recent attempts on his life, I have to think it goes beyond that.

Immigration piece requires considerably more work, namely accountability.

Had a similar conversation yesterday. Guy was telling me and his daughter that the stories about Springfield were false. Trump, right wing disinfo. He used to live very close to S'field and is very familiar with the city and surrounding area. I ended the conversation (so called) telling him to take a drive to S'field and drive around...and if I was lying....I'd buy him a steak dinner.
Decent guy until it comes to politics. 100% Dem (but not real liberal). And...I think...the kind of guy that if he took me up on my challenge would come back and tell the truth. And may even buy me a steak. But I'm not holding my breath on that.

No, gender is an emergent social construct, not a philosophical/economic/political theory. You can create those things that involve gender, but then you're talking about those theories, not gender itself. What you actually mean is biological sex, right? Which is determined by various physical biological indicators, some of which are malleable while others aren't. If an adult male undergoes surgeries to physically resemble a female in every way, most people would say that's a man that became a woman. They're still male with XY chromosomes biologically, but they're a woman in every functional, societal, practical way that matters to broader society, so they're a woman as that's societal defined. Notice how none of this is applicable to the previous topic? Your ham-fisted attempt at analogy is just deflection.

Been yelling from the rooftops for months Virginia is HUGE and easily could decide the election. It’s one of the few places an R governor was able to fix election laws. I like Trumps chances anywhere the election is actually fair.

The idea that chromosomes are fixed things with fixed functions is strange. There are mutations all along chromosomes. No two of us are alike. And genes aren't even fixed in how they function. Here's a pic of the first cat to be cloned and its source. Identical genetics, but the expression of those genes produced a very different cat.
The way people respond to transsexuals is baffling. Some people feel betrayed by their bodies. Their bodies don't reflect who they are. So, they try to fix it. Who doesn't do that? None of us feel that we're a slave to our genes. What business is it of someone else? Some people act as if they aren't cruel to someone who's different that they aren't quite complete. The right to be cruel. Even worse: the right to be admired for being cruel.
