Nothing can bother me tonight. Because I received a new set of speakers (Sony CCS5), two Fosi Mono bloc amplifiers to run them through, and a mint condition copy of Bitches Brew. I've got it all setup and it is ridiculous to an entirely new level of sound. I was skeptical of those Fosi "monos" for the price. I've wanted to try two mono amps for 2channel stereo audio for awhile, but it's always been pretty expensive, until these came out. Capitalism is fantastic! (I didn't buy the Fosi VU meter amp switcher. It looks cool, but it's superfluous, and cost almost as much as the two "mono" amps together)

It is astounding that those 140 dollar a pair Sony speakers which are described as bookshelf (but they're a little larger) can produce the sound they do. They sound like 600 dollar speakers. They are unicorns. That is 270 for the amps, 140 for the speakers (I already had a nice turntable, but nothing audiophile snobbish over the top. I think it was in the 350 dollar range, and a lot of that was a cartridge upgrade) All together, that's under 800 bucks for something that will stack up to anything. Unless you've got a McMansion and need to fill up a 700 square foot den.

The pictures of Obama and Biden were taken as part of their official duties as President and VP. The one of Obama was on 9/11 and associated with honoring those lost on that anniversary.
They were approved and followed all rules and regulations required.
Nobody had to call military MPs to deal with a Presidential candidate posing for pictures with a big smile and thumbs up for a shameless photo op.
The fact you and other MAGAs can't differentiate between these pictures is such a perfect example of why MAGA sucks.
I'll shut up about this when you post a picture of Obama or Biden smiling and giving the thumbs up sign over a gravestone while they were out of office and not there for an officially approved ceremony.

I put far more value in Trump being invited by the family and posing with them while they were also smiling and king thumb up than I do “official” ceremonies. What kind of retard thinks a family inviting someone to a memorial is political, but a politician in office photo opping without an invite is not.

You people are so goddam stupid.

Years ago I use to go the the JBL office/factory in Northridge, CA quite often. First time there they gave me a tour. Will never forget they had a specially built room to 'test' speakers. Had to put on special headphones and was warned at least 3 times by the guy escorting me around to NOT take them off in the room....don't even lift them a bit off the ear(s). Was like a space shuttle hatch type entry in that you opened and went in the first door to a small area. Was another door but it couldn't be opened until the first one was closed and latched. Then a third door. Once in the room, you could just tell that it was LOUD. Probably 50+ speakers of all shapes/sizes. White noise. In the corner were some speakers that were about 3-4 foot high...as I recall specially made for a Japanese tycoon of some sort....playing Michael Jackson's 'Beat It'. Walked over by them. My suit pants were blowing back and forth like I was in a hurricane. Will never forget it.

V, Democrats have imprisoned conservatives, silenced conservatives, killed conservatives, tried to imprison and kill our candidate, falsely accuse opposition of rape, want to have pedos around kids, mutilate kids, and are willing to bring in millions and millions of murderers and rapists in order to win elections and you’re concerned about this?

You understand we have been under attack for a long time, right? Classic GOP. Democrats want to destroy their opposition and take no mercy but you’re under the belief we’re in gentlemen politics.
Yes, they've done all those things. Now how the F does that make it right for Pubs to do the same to them - as your position was in your post? BTW, I don't know what a classic Pub is. Name some & how they did those things Dims did..

Unreal. They seriously want to give amnesty to deported illegals who Trump deported if they had been in the country at least 3 years and invite them back. The article mentions earlier this year the Biden administration began quietly flying back Cameroonians who were deported during the Trump administration.

From the article:

The Democratic National Committee endorsed a plan that would offer amnesty to illegal aliens who were deported under former president Donald Trump and invite them back to the United States.

That bill would create a sweeping amnesty process for the millions of illegal aliens currently residing in the country. But a provision also allows those who were "removed from or who departed the United States on or after January 20, 2017" if they resided in the country for three years prior to apply for amnesty as well.

Such a proposal would constitute one of the most radical changes to the nation’s immigration policy in history. Roughly 1.5 million illegal aliens were deported by the Trump administration, including tens of thousands each year who were guilty of serious crimes such as sexual assault.

Deported aliens who had been convicted of two or fewer misdemeanor offenses would be eligible for amnesty, under the Democratic proposal.
Id love to hear how this stuff is not treason. Seriously.

An old buddy of mine worked in Chicago back in the 80s. Was working a CES at McCormick Place billed as a "Toys for Adults" show back then. Had tons of audio equipment like what you mentioned but none of it was supposed to be turned up too loud on a consistent basis.

He was looking for small speaker for his apt at school, so this rep showed him a set of speakers that were about 3-4inches wide and maybe 9 inches tall. My buddy laughed and said he was interested in some larger Klipsch (sp) speakers the booth had on display. The guy laughed and said those were just for comparison.

He let the people around the booth know he was turning the speakers up before he put them to maybe 9. The guy my buddy worked for heard them clear and unadulterated at the other end of the vendor hall as if it was in his living room, not knowing it was for him. It would take him 6 months and some of his student loan money to save up for the speakers. Never saw any like them for a good 10-15 years after that

I thought he was FOS until I heard them for myself. Incr d ible sound

Not nearly the same experience you had, but just reminded me of that.

It's a still picture genius.
You need to calm yourself down. You are acting unhinged.
Drug problem?
I know what it is already.

The cockpit stall warning is going off, with respect to the "Kam-pain". The initial replacement bump, and the DNC/Obama bump looked good early, but like a 10 year old bottle rocket that you find in a shoebox; it lights, starts to go up, and then fizzles.

The bump just wasn't enough. Both barrels have been fired, and the toughest stretch is coming. So, things are getting irritable.

@AustinTXCat and I have talked about the CES show. Use to go the Vegas show every year and Chicago. McCormick is a huge venue.
Great show to go to. Lot of neat stuff.

It's really wild still seeing this happen. They just can't stand that she is white and way better at basketball than any of them could hope to be.

That league needs to set an example with one of these goons. Year suspension plus a huge fine.
Otherwise they are proving that they (the league) is a joke. WHICH IT IS.

You want to know the dirty little secret about "ultra" audiophile stereo equipment, and those that obsess about it? By the time people can afford bespoke, 30,000 dollar amps, that can blow out insane highs and lows into hand crafted 2 ohm speakers, blah blah blah, their f***ing ears can't tell the difference anymore, because the average adult starts exponentially losing their upper register hearing (which is where "audiophilia makes it's living) in their late 20's , and at least a dB a year in volume sensitivity. 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄

It's like a quadraplegic buying a Ferrari.
