My first theory on this is that Biden would pardon both Trump AND Hunter. This gives him cover to pardon his kid. Saying that he is doing so to stop both sides attacking in the courts politically. Pardoning still gives him the ability to call Trump a convicted felon. NARRATIVE.

Hopefully a GOP higher court will swat this BS quickly on appeal....before Biden or Houlcom can pardon.

This times 1,000.
Same question as Jordan Peterson got asked the other day: “If I went back in time with a Panasonic video camera in front of the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, would the little LCD screen show a man walk out of that tomb?”

We can all argue over the relative value of the Christian tradition. But setting all that aside, just as a poll, does anyone here actually literally believe the magic stuff?

It's sad man. Awful. Never in my life would I thought I'd see the vitriol.

We can all have disagreements and debates but this stuff.....it's too much.
Hint: Don't take things Willy says at face value. He's the board pet troll.

Every Christian believes the “magic stuff.” Kinda the whole point.

D-Sus just wanted to let us know why Hamas raped. Why Hamas tortured children in front of their parents. Why Hamas baked babies in ovens. Why Hamas bragged about their evil deeds. Why Hamas slaughtered innocents. Why Hamas kidnapped. Why Hamas stole from the Palestinians. Why Hamas destroyed industry so the Palestinians could not benefit. Why Hamas has rejected attempts at peace. Why Hamas hides in areas where innocents are put at risk. Why Hamas lets Palestine starve. D-Sus just wants us to understand.

So you think OJ was innocent?

Did they plant Nicole’s and Ron’s blood on OJs body, wrists, gloves, clothes, car, inside and out, yard, bedroom, living room, and bathroom?
No as I said earlier, I think he likely did it but the evidence presented was basically a frame-up. I’ll try to provide a link to some info when I get a chance. Won’t be soon. Going on 2 weeks vacation.

To me, the salient point was he was going to kill himself but Cowlings convinced him otherwise.

Initial disclaimer: I have no agenda here, no overarching point. Interest is purely academic. Just saw the Peterson interview and thought it'd be an interesting topic. Asking follow-ups just based on the response I got.

So if you really believe it, no need to get into specifics as apparently you claim to believe all of it, where does that leave us today with the laws of physics? Can God break them at His whim, perform 'miracles'? Obviously no one comes back from the dead. Not one single instance of it to enter into the evidentiary record in all this time we've had solid record-keeping. Why? Do you live your day-to-day life thinking a miracle could happen to you? Why haven't any?

Do you support Israel doing all those things?

I don’t see a conflict with the law of physics. Observable truths we’ve only organized and labeled “physics” in the created world.

There’s Biblical record of people coming back from the dead. People “come back from the dead” after cardiac arrest all the time. I think one woman went like almost a day or something crazy. How do you define “dead?” 10 minutes? Hour? A day? People would call that miracles. Others may call it medical intervention. Not sure they’re mutually exclusive all the time.

Jesus was dead 3 days so there’s no “oh he wasn’t technically dead” argument there.

As far as me expecting a miracle to be raised from the dead? Probably not to return living here on earth. But, being alive again? Sure, isn’t that what anyone who believes in any general afterlife hopes for?

Well, that's yet another reason to detest Neocon Haley. And I didn’t drop any bombs on anyone- you read me?
Our, including your, government gave those bombs to them in military aid. The same foreign aid y'all generally cry about, and you yourself cry about constantly when it's Ukraine. Why are you not crying about it in this instance?

I oppose all of it. I don't cry about anything, understand me?

The magic stuff. LOL

I'm not going to get into Christianity/Religion, but if you believe that life came about from nothingness, then you're probably the kid that purchased Sea Monkeys from the back of a comic book ad. LOL

Abiogenesis is nothing more than "science" using sleight of hand. LOL

IOW - It's a faith based religion.

You're free to disagree of course, but you'll still be in denial/wrong. You believe in it, while having absolutely no evidence to back it up. Just like those that believe in a Creator.

So if your answer is "probably not" as you say(which I would also personally say is probably the most reasonable answer anyone can give) why do you think it happened once, back then? Not to be too crass but you work in this world of life and death every day. You know, for real, deep in the deepest part of your heart, no one comes back. We all know that. I don't understand choosing to tell yourself something different when you know it just isn't true.

Science has been doing that for all of time.
What's your idea then? What's the First Cause that's somehow different for you?
