You can certainly give Trump credit for a good economy, but then that means you must also attribute the same blame for the crash. But DeSantis’ primary campaign was so bad, I don’t know if he could have won the general. And I think he made the Trump mistake of buying up to Washington insiders running his campaign, so I don’t know that draining the swamp would have been guaranteed.
