Holy shit, shinbone has had an independent thought. Although still flawed (the federal government doesn’t mandate anything related to abortion, since it has no power to do so).
However, to bring up slavery as an example that the government has always been evil is worth debating.
Several months ago I was talking to a truck driver. He had been a cop at a 15-20 thousand population town. He quit and took up truck driving because of the danger and the possible no win situation you can be in.
Ultra-Leftists have taken over so many positions of power and they’re voted in by a bunch of dumb liberal women who don’t understand what’s going to happen to them in the long run.
Well all 50 state constitutions mention God or the Divine. 200 times in total. The signers of the Constitution signed with “in the year of our Lord”. Declaration of Independence, Pledge of Allegiance and our Currency as well mentions or references God. The influence of Judeo Christian values permeate our laws, etc. This is the God of the Bible they’re referencing obviously. We have Bible verses on the DC monuments.
Yes you have the freedom of religion not being forced on you, but not eradicating it from the pillars of government, law, cultural influence, or the public space that was placed there by wiser men than you or me.
Believers in their respected faiths don’t have to hide and pray in solitude to spare you’re feelings. Tuberville can say what he wants. Keep scrolling if you don’t like it. He can initiate policy based on his morals and values and that of his constituents. If the majority don’t like it, they can vote him out.

Very quickly ICU's were available. All statistics have shown the same thing- old, fat, medically compromised were at risk...really no one else. Also admitted "with covid" vs "because of covid" was a real thing bc the government gave hospitals money based on dx. Also, several hospitals closed, especially in rural areas...considering those are ppl less likely to get vaccinated- bc of access, not wanting it, etc...why weren't those hospitals full? Also, hospitals were never full- they were all just able to reduce staff- hence operating with a portion of beds.
B. Oddly during lockdowns you had no qualms with people not able to get cancer care etc, bc no could utilize services, surgeries, see specialists. Bc you were more worried aboit masks and locking up in the house.
Hospitals don't even track covid anymore. Idiots have been clothing up ERs for years, they never were any more or less during this...not sure if you've ever been to one, but do you know what Triage means?

As with the vast majority of these issues....I don't personally agree with many of them, but respect others to make their own life decisions without me or Big Mama Government telling them how to live their lives.
How trans people and their families chose to live is not my concern. Doesn't effect me in the least. I think laws prohibiting permanent surgeries is preferable... But let's include boob jobs too if we are gonna go down that path. Notice how breast augmentation is not on the table?? Why is that????
I personally like the 15 week abortion law. That is reasonable. Throw in exceptions for rape,incest and mother's health and I have zero problems.
Covid is not an issue now but it was 2 years ago. Nobody liked the lack of services during that time but it was a world wide pandemic with a novel coronavirus never seen by humans before. There just weren't any easy answers for the complicated issue.
One issue I am in complete agreement with many on the right is the border. Went to the ER recently and in order to get triage I was in line behind about 20 Mexican families seeking care. That's a problem that is effecting healthcare now.
Just wish Trump hadn't killed the border law and it had been passed.

Again, majority rule doesn't mean it's Constitutional rule. Those laws are decided in the court of law.

This is just scratching the surface. 30 years ago, an administration would not be intentionally allowing a foreign invasion (think about how crazy that sounds!) in order to create a voting bloc.
30 years ago, would an administration be actively trying to force media outlets to censor anything unfriendly to that administration, defying the 1st amendment?
30 years ago, would government (knowingly, and not in response to war) spend so much borrowed money that it ruins the lives of generations of as-yet unborn Americans?
30 years ago, would government be trying to control weather by raising taxes and thus making everything much less affordable, especially energy? Does that sound crazy enough?
30 years ago, if it were proven that a VP and his family received millions in foreign money, what else would be needed to call it what it is: treason?
