Trump remains popular with millions of voters who otherwise won’t show up. This also helps with down ballot races.
Desantis is more popular with Independents, but many of the Trump-only folks won’t vote for him, because they won’t go to the polls.
However, the elections are rigged in many states, including AZ, (GA), PA, WI.
Trump likely can’t win those states while DeSantis is being sold on the idea that the powers that manipulate the outcomes in those states might allow him to win.
Meanwhile, critical states like Michigan have lost tens of thousands of critical GOP voters who left for southern states.
The metrics are likely not even there to win Michigan in ‘24.
You might wanna recalibrate your political position on things when you find that you are on the exact same side of history as Nazis.

It really comes down to whether Republicans want to win. To do so, the message has got to be positive and forward thinking. You don’t win elections by complaining about being cheated and everyone being against you.
