Honestly we don't discuss much politics when we are together, and when my staunchly conservative Brother-in-law (my other sisters husband) brings up politics at the dinner table, they don't bother to chime in. I'm under the assumption they likely lean liberal on most issues, but they generally stay away from taking a vocal stance. Like I said, they just go about their lives as normal people doing normal everyday things. They like doing the stereotypical lesbian things, Camping, Hiking, music festivals, traveling, visiting wineries and distilleries, etc.
If they were outside, behind a barricade, for the safety of the people attending the speech, then so be it, they are allowed to be there and vocalize their opposition. I'm OK with protesting in that fashion as long as campus conservative groups are allowed to protest just the same outside of some woke commie speech.

Something happened in today's Florida Legislature that will make conservatives happy. Trump may be mad because it is another win for the state he detests.
- Florida’s Republican-controlled Senate has approved a bill that expands school-choice programs, making all students eligible for taxpayer-backed vouchers. The bill will remove income-eligibility requirements that are part of current voucher programs.
- The bill includes a tiered “priority” system for students to receive vouchers based on household income levels.
- The proposal also includes setting up “education savings accounts” for recipients to spend funds on various purchases beyond private-school tuition. The estimated cost of the measure will be $2.2 billion.
- DeSantis has already pledged to sign the bill.
