? He and Trump lost for exactly the same reason. They’re assholes. Some people really like that and support it strongly. The majority don’t and some are even willing to vote against their own ideological leanings to oppose it. Both Bevin and Trump would be in office right now if they had just toned it down a bit. But they couldn’t. Explain how that’s inconsistent.
For the newcomers, this is the dodge post that you should come to expect from D-Sus. He posted about Kentucky being a Trumpy state, but then had to explain how the state he despairs voted for Beshear. His explanation was that it was only because Bevin was an asshole. Yet, as noted above, D thinks Trump is equally an asshole. Kentucky voted for Trump. Caught in an inconsistent thought, he now wants to change the narrative to dodge the true point made. He can deride Kentuckians, but he cannot explain why.

I personally know 4 black millionaires that live right here in Kentucky (2 of them are your neighbors right there in Louisville). One came from a middle class family but the other 3 went from being penniless to becoming self-made millionaires albeit by very different routes.
Dion lives in Louisville? I thought he lived in a town run by Republicans. Is there any truth in him?

I will give you credit. You at least stick to your blind adherence of your beliefs. Where has socialism worked? Lets just leave it there. And please dont say, it just hasnt been done right, because thats the point. IT CAN NOT be implemented correctly because those in power hoard ALL the wealth. Socialism just really narrows down the group who gets to hoard it. You can bash democracy and capitalism, but show us a single example of Socialism on a large scale where it didnt boil down to a handful of people having ALL the wealth and ALL the power, while the people scrounged for enough to eat.

Social democracy is the standard political model in the non-authoritarian world and has been since the 1930s. That includes the USA.

Accepting terminology gets comic at times. "Keep the government out of my Social Security." Or Medicaid. Or Food Stamps. Or ...

And let's not forget how much people loved the ACA but hated Obamacare.

Canada. I gave a whole list of countries with more socialist tendencies. We’ve been talking about them for days. If anyone mentions they want universal healthcare y’all scream socialism at the top of your lungs. Now when you want to denigrate socialism successful universal healthcare programs don’t qualify? Which is it?
Ah Canada. Really easy to be the cool, open-minded hippie country when there's a Kevlar Snuggie of America draped around their fat frozen asses, daring the world to talk shit.

"We don't use our military.” Yeah, no shit.

Incredible. Hopefully he can get some major traction and at least help pull the conversation back to the middle. It's legitimately insane how far left everything is all thanks to their clandestine chokehold on the social media propaganda machine
The sinister left includes Rupert Murdoch, does it?

Ya'll musta forgot that he understands you better than you know yourselves. You'd be democratic socialists communists too if you just knew what was good for you.

I appreciate the adult conversation. There are less than 10 million black people in all of Europe put together. There are over 41 million here. Of course there are going to be more millionaires. I applaud their hard work and dedication. None of which indicates America has more social mobility than European countries like Norway(one random example) which was the conversation. As for them and their success I would simply ask you, are they the rule? Or the exception? You don’t have to answer, we both know. What you need to acknowledge is that those women’s success stories aren’t as simple as the ‘Just budget!’ line of BS they’re serving. Or most everyone would be a millionaire. It’s luck. They don’t want to acknowledge it because they lived it and want to think their position is due to their decisions and work. Which are obviously important factors. But not the main ones. What’s the one common thread in their three stories? “Take risks!” And what does that mean? For every one of them that those risks paid off for there are many more for whom they did not.

How many black people are there in the entire world combined outside of the US? That’s the number you should be comparing...not just Europe.

Norway? Seriously? I will discuss that in my next post...this one is already going to be too long.

You can’t have a serious conversation about social mobility in the US without first acknowledging the ramifications of having 1 party & their failed policies (Democrats) perpetuating generational poverty in this country’s major cities (and most mid-major cities) for well over 50+ years. That’s the starting point. Acknowledge that and we can have a more in depth conversation on that topic.

If “just budget” is your big take away from reading the stories in that article then I doubt we’ll be able to have an adult conversation on very many topics. But I think you were merely saying that for dramatic effect. Hopefully.

The fact that you don’t know what “Take risks!” means tells me exactly why you are on board with whatever you want to call your new age version of socialism.

You mean all risks don’t pay off? Holy shit...what a revelation! I’m guessing that you have never taken a big financial risk in your life. Or perhaps you did take a risk once and it didn’t pay off so you gave up and shun those whose risks have paid off. Either way it comes off as nothing more than petty jealousy.

BTW...I have noticed that you have backtracked a little lately. Your earlier posts screamed “share the wealth evenly!!!” But your last few posts have retreated to “tax the wealthy a little more”. So that’s progress I guess. But it could also mean that I have mistakenly conflated two of your utopian ideals.

Up next...Norway...

Maybe. Maybe not.

I think the candidate is 100% spot on in saying we should be able to agree on his core principles. If you can't, then you really aren't someone wanting the best for this country and it's people
Q. Using force to interfere with elections?
Q. Urging secession?
Q. Supporting Russian interests over our own?
Q. And WTF is COIVIDism

His speech doesn't dog whistle. It howls.

If he spoke in more self-serving cant. flies would pour from his mouth.

2024 just got a lot better.

Was just about to post on Vivek... a cursory examination checks a lot of boxes for me.

Anti-woke
Completely pro-America
America First 2.0 (his words)
Called the legacy media "a joke"
Eliminate ALL affirmative action policies
Advocates "looking forward"

Admittedly I knew very little about him til a few days ago...but he is impressive for sure.

You're guessing about political affiliation.
And it would have been an awesome moment.

Picking at her verbal mannerisms? Really? And not exclaiming horror at a president intervening -- wheedling, and menacing a governor -- in an election?

Her verbal mannerisms are what gets you rocking? I hope a bit of reflection serves you well.

Exactly...he pulls no punches from day one so you won't have to question where he stands on the issues.

It will be interesting to see how the libs approach him. They can't touch his rise to prominence in the business world, or his family culture.

A national divorce is the most peaceful solution at this point. No one gets hurt. Everyone gets what they want.

But I doubt that actually happens.
This would be ideal but no way the left would allow it. They need the revenue from the states that produce the wealth. Texas, Florida, Tennessee, the Carolinas etc. Also the major U.S. military bases are in these states. They would not give up control of them peacefully.

If it were not for the taxes red states send to Washington DC states like California, New York and Illinois (Chicago) would be third world. It is border line third world now.

Now the left will deny this but isn't it funny these lefty states are the first to cry out if someone mentions a "peaceful divorce".

The reality is America is hopelessly divided and will remain divided. We despise each other more than we despise a foreign enemy. What the right see as an enemy, the left sees as a friend. China a prime example.

Take 20 minutes one day and dive into his youtube vids. He is truly brilliant and is essentially saying what many of us do each day, although w/ a more distinguishable tone...lol.

I just finished his book, Woke, Inc., and it is eye opening how he nails what we are witnessing in this country.

Other reasons the left will not allow a peaceful divorce.

Red states have most of the guns, grow most of the food and have real women. If you take a girl out from the South or red states, she is the real deal. Biily doesn't have to worry about "her's" being longer than his. Not going to happen. Take a Caliifornia or New York girl out and you may get a surprise

The left is very insecure.

Our only hope is to somehow reunite as one nation with common core values and not allow the constitution to be twisted or perverted from what it truly is. division only weakens all of us.

Actually, embracing rationality and American traditions would be the most peaceful solution at this point.

As for as "everyone" getting what they want, do this little thought experiment. Let's call the red states CSA. They keep the Senate/House legislature. So, now, Texas has its power diluted by the Dakotas, Nebraska, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the other feeble states. And Texas's wealth is what keeps the dependent states of the CSA from abject poverty. They won't have California, New York, Connecticut, etc to help anymore. Do you think Texans would be getting what they want? When CSA poor-to-middle-class are all destitute from medical bankruptcies, do you think they'll be getting what they want? When all the things that liberals helped bring about evaporate -- the 40 hour week, the abolition of child labor -- do you think everyone will get what they want? Liberals for all the chit that gets thrown at us from us right and left are about using the power of government to help mitigate the burden. There's no longer much memory of why liberalism ruled in this country 1930-1980. That would change. One party rule, the new CSA would discover, doesn't help everyone. It helps the guy at the top. Then, chum, you'd find out what tyranny really looks like. And you think that's what "everyone" would want then? Ask your grandparents or great-grandparents.

California actually supplies a shit load of food for the country. But those areas also hate the big city Californians who control the government and would probably opt to join the freedom loving supporters of American values on the red side.
