That was my entire point dude. The Afghan people didn’t want to fight the Taliban. They let them waltz right in. Because they’re ideologically aligned. The situation is the opposite in Ukraine. They are fighting with everything they have. If you watch any footage you’ll see that. Daring Humvee raids with LMGs blazing. Personal drones dropping explosives on tanks and infantry. Everyone hunkered down in trenches. War.
If you know then tell us? I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't want Putin to invade in the first place. Obviously. Because the best way to empower fascists is to make them sympathetic freedom fighters in the eyes of the public by invading their country.
A) the taliban didn't waltz in, they were already there. That who we were 'fighting.
B) I don't believe half the shit coming out of Ukraine.
Explain exactly how the Ukraine is ideologically opposed to Russia.

A) The Afghan Army was supposed to be a bulwark against them retaking Kabul. They folded in two seconds. Because they were only there to mooch US paychecks and didn't actually care about fighting the Taliban or women's education or democracy or any of the other reasons we were fed as to why we were there.
B) You can watch videos. You don't have to tune in to state propaganda. It's 2023 there are cameras everywhere. Have you not watched any war footage? You can get on right now and watch them shooting each other and blowing each other up. They're real. Hollywood couldn't even stage those videos.
Democracy vs. Dictatorship. Ukraine is trying to turn from the east towards the west. Propelled mostly by the younger generations who've tasted life as an EU-adjacent satellite and weren't raised with the Cold War propaganda. Putin rules Russia with an iron fist. As he would Ukraine. Ukrainians want to determine their own destiny, not under Putin's thumb. This is like you telling the East Germans in the 80s to shut up and mind their own business, that wall's there for their own good.

Zelensky is not Azov. Every military has fascist factions. What do think the Russian far-right is? We certainly have our own fair share here. I was talking about Mariupol and Azov, not Kiev and Zelensky. He's Jewish and lost family in the Holocaust for pete's sake. His grandfather and all his great uncles fought the Nazis in the Red Army. The point of NATO was to ensure that your fellow travelers never brought their brand of equity to Paris and London. Period. If you can find a NATO document post 1991 that states as such, please share it.
Parents are the problem. They don't discipline their kids, dont push them to work hard, hand them a smart phone in 2nd grade, and don't get involved with the school. And the parents of today's parents passed stupid ass laws making all school funding dependent on standardized test scores. So now teachers don't teach knowledge, they teach kids how to memorize for a test.
No child left behind ruined the grading system. they aren't allowed to hold anyone back so it's everyone gets to move on even if they can say their alphabet in 5th grade. All the school laws need to be wiped away and start over.
