You.clown.
Musk: evs, rockets, now twitter, red pilled.
Gates: Microsoft, vaccines, and fake food.
Bezos: Amazon and propaganda.

They all made huge money on the first. Which people bought and used. Thus, why they are rich. (They're still trying to make money, btw)

How are they to blame for the housing market?

Literally, one of the stupidest things I've seen you post.
Because we live in the real world and it's all connected. I used three names from the ten richest people in the world as a proxy for class struggle. I wasn't saying Musk works in real estate.

I was going to link this earlier today but couldn’t find a video clip that was appropriate. Horrible stuff. Cops even realize they’ve messed up and start saying, “Cameras! Cameras!” to not say anything incriminating. Can we please make police reform a bipartisan issue?

What do you mean, 'appropriate'?

And yes, by God, we need better police officers and trainers and all that.

And guess HOW you get it?

Pay them more. Quit demonizing them.

Same with 'educators'. (For you, SCIENCE DUDE)

No woke, no asshole bullies, I think everyone here agrees with that.

Guess how that happens?

Not socialism.

Commie.

As long as the reform includes better training (it takes longer to become a hairdresser), MORE FUNDING for that training and better pay. Also a media that doesn’t only focus on the the acts by rouge cops that fit their narrative.

You're a clown. You just spent 3 days arguing that we can house 100 million plus people, but it's musks, gates and bezos fault, as part of billionaire class, that are making housing less affordable?

Not real market forces and infrastructure and, my God, everything else?

Bring them all in! See how that goes. I'm sure housing prices will decrease.

Course, you're a Commie and want to live in a star trek box and eat bug protein, right?

9 of top 10 are liberal super donors
Duh. That's what I'm talking about. Buying influence. Class warfare. Who does the tenth donate to? Because the question is never whether they're spending the money or not. It's just on whom. And that's just what's public.

I am a former military cop. I was doing that in the days of the late sixties when the riots were going on. They came to my base and offered every single cop an immediate honorable discharge if we would sign a contract to be a cop at numerous major cities across the USA. Not one person at my base accepted and I doubt if many anywhere accepted. Viet Nam was a real option for those who remained in the military, yet no one accepted.

Even with a lot more money it is not going to be easy to get the type and number of cops most of us want. How many of you have had to make a split second decision where someone may die if you choose wrong or even delay your decision to long? Now its even worse because you may do the right thing and have your life ruined. I have no answer.

Well, most likely to a RINO for that tenth. Not an American First group (Pete Thiel one of the few).

The liberals are responsible for the fake info you post here. Fake Russian, Fake Jan 6th, Fake everything. All your fake info comes from them, Dion.

Got this email today from the state of Ohio....

'Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry Announces..

It is now illegal to sell, grow, or plant Callery pear (also known as Bradford pear) in Ohio because of its invasive qualities and likelihood to cause economic or environmental harm.'

What about a Bradford pear tree is invasive and/or will cause economic or environmental harm?
My parents had a couple in the yard when I was growing up. Beautiful tree. Only thing I ever thought was bad about them is that when there's a big wind you stand the chance of a limb(s) going down.
Around us, they're growing wild all over hillsides & crowding out redbuds & dogwoods.

Why is housing unaffordable? We have plenty of space. Why did Canada just ban foreign real estate purchasing? Do you understand how assets work? There is a lot more going on than just material and labor costs. Your "market forces" are designed and run by a handful of rich people who somehow make even more money in the midst of global emergencies like a pandemic when everyone else is taking a hit. The system is inherently unfair. It's about making the most money possible for a select group of people, not efficiently getting products(housing) into the hands of the people. It was designed that way by those people.

Here we go again.

HAHA. These people are absolute lunatics.

I do love the "FIGHT THE ESTABLISHMENT! VIVA LA RESISTANCE!" shtick coming from a kid whose parent is in Congress. That's hilarious. You're totally not privileged in any way and a little rebel. Fight the machine from your posh house paid for by your parents.
Best response I saw in that thread:
--------------
Perhaps attention seeking behavior from privileged youth. Why not just join the peace corp/ or Forrest service and do good if you want to live in the woods instead of burning/fighting …spoiled kids.
----------------
Privileged white kids. Why don't they do something productive or constructive?

This is nothing "new". This was introduced as the "Fairtax" in the late 90s. This is desperately needed. Which is why it will never happen.

I have a couple of them in my yard and they look nice but are a pain. They grow a ton of little chutes around the base that I have to prune a few times a year. I had a stump from one in my front yard that the previous owners cut down, it kept growing chutes out from around the perimeter of the stump until it looked like a giant shrub. Finally after about the third time cutting it all back down to the stump I had the stump ground. Hopefully that takes care of it. It didn’t come back this past summer. But they can get out of hand if not maintained.
I transplanted one when they were really popular in the early 90s. Very pretty blossoms in the early spring. I planted it when it was not much more than a broomstick, but grew over the years to 35'. I had the weak variety. Our 09 ice storm took out a third of it. I didn't have the heart to take it down then because I already had 15 years invested and it was the first tree I ever transplanted.

The tree took about five years to fill back in. I went through the same scenario with high winds in '16 and the death knell '20. The stump has a crazy amount of suckers. I should have it ground down like you did.

In '99, my neighbor transplanted five of the improved, stronger variety and none of them have failed or even lose limbs.

GDP revised up to 2.9%! Stock market back through the roof! inflation trending down. Powell says the Fed will begin backing off. Rail strike has been averted through real leadership! Russia is collapsing. China is revolting. Iran is revolting. Biden cant stop winning and making the WHOLE WORLD GREAT AGAIN!
Speaking of inflation....

Welcome to Joe Biden's America.

Good grief, guys. Get a dam room...

just kidding.

Marxism is about freeing the individual, not suppressing it. To you Marxism looks like the Soviet Union. To my generation Marxism looks like Star Trek.
In TV shows, unrealistic things seem to work out OK. (You guys realize there is no gravity in space, and therefore no one would ever "stand" on the deck? lol)
Our quality of life has gone down.
Curious ... by what standard? Food available everywhere? Clean water (well, not in Dim sh1tholes)? Reliable air conditioning? Only have a 4G Cell phone? 3 bars on wireless? 2 minute line for a crappy frappy? This is really the crux of the problem the US has ... we have it SO GOOD in this country that your generation has failed to understand what "NEED" really is. Our generation has failed you by providing too much. And please don't misunderstand ... I'm not trying to pick on you, bernie and Sawnee could say the same thing about me and my generation and how they provided us too much.

About 20 years ago, I lived in Djibouti, Africa. If people could see that place and live what I lived in, and what they still live in ... it would bring a new perspective.

No wonder ppl like James love NEA teachers union...the KKK was fully behind them and lobbied for departmentof education.
