38 percent approve. Most of those people must be economically very well off. I don't know how anybody that isn't a millionaire can be satisfied right now.
I can verify the millionaires aren't happy either.

My working days consist of talking to my investment clients about their portfolios for about 30 seconds... and then listening to them complain about Biden/Dems for 20 minutes.

I voted against Trump for the policies and un Presidential behavior.
I am ate the fork up because of Jan 6th. If Obama had lied about election results, unleashed a mob on Congress, and tried to illegally overturn a free and fair election I would be ate up with him just as much as Trump.
Like I've said before...I'm ok with differences in policy. Those differences are settled by elections. Trump didn't believe in that and is dangerous as hell to our democracy.
Many of us are ate up because we can't believe that fellow Americans still believe his BS lies.

It is my opinion that this political thread "radicalizes" the people who post here. I can't imagine that many people going about their daily lives oppose abortion in every circumstance. But people get on this thread and see other extreme views and adopt them because they think it is the expected thing to do to fit in with their "side". This happens on other social media too, on both sides of the spectrum. The result is extreme polarization.
Are you serious? Pro-life individuals have existed forever. In fact, they were the vast majority until relatively recently. It isn’t them that have moved at all. Pro-life is pro-life. Now all the sudden that’s ‘extreme’? FOH.

How bout you do some self reflecting and honestly look at the side that has actually changed their views from ‘safe, legal, and rare’ to ‘kill that little bastard whenever I want’.

NYC Mayor is sick & sickening:

"A 20-year-old woman was fatally shot Wednesday evening in New York’s Upper East Side as she pushed her baby in a stroller, police said."

"New York Mayor Eric Adams (D) said the killing illustrated how gun violence can affect all families, whether they “are on the Upper East Side, or East New York, Brooklyn.”"

IOW, it is what it is, I can't do anything, deal with it.

The US doesn't have the oil reserves to sustain hyper production. If we had spent the last 50 years not importing oil we would be dried out. All the oil is in south America and the middle east. Everything left in north America is really ****ing expensive to get to and also destroys the land and poison the water table. The only viable solution for the US is a shitload of nuclear and electric cars. 70% of our oil use is transportation. Cut that in half and oil isn't an issue anymore.

What "radicalizes" us is liberal stupidity... as exhibited perfectly by Dore.

Should be good for the Tobacco stocks I own as well. FDA wants to reduce nicotine levels in Cigs by 95%, making them worthless. This ruling seemingly would tell them to pound sand as well as other "out of control" regulators.
In the broader scheme of things, doesn't this mean that the regulations and laws need to now be made by the legislators and the people elected? Does this ruling now mean that the CDC can no longer be the ones making the laws and regulations regarding things like Mask and Vaccine mandates?

@AustinTXCat

How bout those RECORD SETTING stock markets?
We just can't stop winning under Biden.
Greatest President in US history!
Everyone getting paid more. Millions of new jobs. 401k's worth more than ever.
MAGA BABY!!!
* KA - BOOM *

Worst first half for S&P 500 in 52 years.

Shut up. Repeat. Shut up.

Since I'm tarred a RINO/Lib here, you must think I'm happy about this Big Tech crap:

"Google's Gmail cost Republican candidates over $2 billion in donations since 2019 by flagging most fundraising emails as spam, according to research shared exclusively with Fox News Digital by the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, National Republican Senate Committee.

The Republicans based their conclusions on a North Carolina State University study that found Gmail allows the vast majority of emails from Democratic to land in the user's inbox while more than two-thirds of messages from conservative candidates are marked as spam.

Gmail "retained the majority of left-wing candidate emails in inbox (< 10.12% marked as spam) while sent the majority of right-wing candidate emails to the spam folder (up to 77.2% marked as spam)," the study found."

Yes. Congress is to make these decisions after debate, not these politically driven agencies making decisions with no governance at all.

Disgusting. Kavanaugh and Roberts join the others to stop the "Remain in Mexico" policy. Kavanaugh goes Liberal.

Imo this decision is not what msm presents it to be. All they did was send it back for more fact finding, which was probably the right decision. Yes I wanted a smack down as well, but I think they went about it correctly in waiting procedurally for the right time to smack down the admin on the merits. So imo that beat down is coming, just not yet.

Imo the entire msm hubbub here is to distract from the fact the court did entirely smack down the epa and set the tone/roadmap for attacking/stripping these runaway administrative agencies.

Liz Cheney got a standing ovation last night at the REAGAN LIBRARY after calling Trump a domestic threat. The 25 percent of the population that refuses to live in reality and still thinks gas prices are more important that a U.S. President that tried to overthrow our democracy and refuse the peaceful transition of power are waaaaaaaay out of step with most Americans.
You will see how much love Trump gets when the Republican primaries begin and he is toast. The Trump nut huggers still sucking down the Foolaide are like the last Japanese soldiers on the islands in the Pacific that refused to believe they lost WW2.
Trump is a danger to our republic and a con man clown show. Yeah Biden sucks but at least he believes in democracy and our Constitution. Vote him out and he will go unlike your Dumbazz Dictator.

Not knowing the Supreme leaker a month later tells me that they've uncovered a justice that was complicit.

It will only get worse with the chick Biden just shoved in there.
They don't know because there wasn't really a "leaker". The "leak" was by design to give people a chance to accept what was coming, conditioning if you will. It also allowed states to get their preverbal ducks in a row.

Look at how some reacted to the decision even after knowing for months that it was coming. Imagine if it had been a total surprise. They would have stroked out, or freaked out and attacked.

Some harsh language in this but if you think dems are happy with their current leaders.... LOL. This guy donates to multiple dems and he's had enough.
He isn't wrong lol. I'm glad even dems are realizing aaaallllll these politicians are rich assholes that doesn't give a single **** about this country. That includes Republicans.

Ivy league college students were surveyed a bit ago. They were asked what they thought middle income was. They averaged guessing around $435,000/year. The reality is around $73,000/year. They, or even most college grads, don't live in reality.

Complete bullshit and the vast majority of people whos' 401K's have lost 25-30% and who are spending 3 times more on gas than they used to know this and aren't fooled by your nonsense.
There is a silver lining for us seniors on SS. Next year’s COLA could be as high as 11% with 10% very likely. Since we’re on fixed income thus would be an enormous boon.

So I hope consumer prices keep sky-rocketing until the end of September and then fall dramatically after that. The COLA is based on difference in consumer prices for July, August, September of 2022 compared to same period in 2021.
