Recognizing gender dysphoria as a mental illness should be up your alley “science dude”. It’s detrimental to our society to promote it.

As far as gay marriage, however the state wants to recognize the commitment of two people so that they share property is fine with me. Call it a marriage or whatever you want but I think that should be allowed. I also think clergy should be allowed to refuse performing a ceremony based on their own convictions as well. Marriage in the eyes of the state is just a legal contract.
