Gas may reach $6 a gallon, but I foresee a precipitous drop in price as we slip into recession this fall. If Russia is still in Ukraine, they are going to be squeezed pretty hard by the oil/natural gas profits drying up. Putin needs to find an exit strategy, otherwise he is facing a pretty humiliating defeat that he may not survive politically.
I hope I get to live to see the day where our politicians are treated the same as those in Sri Lanka where they are humbled, have their cars and homes torched, and left with nothing as they attempt to do to others. I am just disturbed an employer would have its employees put something on their work uniforms that goes against their religious beliefs. I understand the 5 were allowed to not do this, but the organization had to know they would be crucified on the racist/sexist/not woke cross that they all have to bear.
I could not imagine my employer telling me I have to wear a pride thing on my work shirts or a BLM patch or whatever else the woke can cook up as acceptable. I know wearing a cross/putting a cross on my shirt would not be accepted...it is funny how inconsistent the world is today.
It is like the White, Christian man was in power so long that now if you are white and/or a man and damn if you are all 3...you are screwed and a racist and sexist no matter what you do. Our society is way overcompensating for the sins of our ancestors in that regard IMO.
