raising the age to buy firearms would have stopped the Buffalo shooting, the Uvalde shooting and the Parkland shooting.
Or competent government would...

Uvalde shooting guy was walking around with dead cats in a bag and they thought oh well.

All of these ppl, either the school knew, a mental health facility knew, or law enforcement at some level knew there was something wrong and didn't act. Just the same as the nyc subway shooting, columbine, etc etc

But just wait, California removed a law that students who assault students or faculty can't be charged, bc equity or something....success!

What is projection for $100. Alex?

What i have done is totally show you as a farce.

You have yet to respond to a thing i have asked. I think you may have your definitions sdrawkcab.

Yes, my mind is firm on the end game, and that is because i have deeply considered this issue. I used to be young and naiive as you are and held beliefs similar to yours. You just have not responded to anything i have asked nor have you brought one compelling argument.

You said you own a gun. What kind? How many times do you shoot? Where? Pics? Let me guess, you used to be an arms instuctor, before you were a truck driver, before you were a lifeguard, before you were #1 in your college class, before you were a double major. About right?
My father in law died and he owned about 20 guns. We inherited them all. We sold most, but kept several handguns. I personally like the Beretta 9mm we own and that is what I shoot when I go shooting.

I have already told you I don't care if responsible people own whatever gun they want. I want to make it difficult for people like the shooter in Uvalde to get weapons. Being able to walk into a store on your 18th birthday and walk out with an AR-15 isn't tough enough IMO. That ease of buying guns makes shootings like that much easier to occur. All the data says so.

I think red flag laws, mandatory background checks, and licensing for certain types of firearms (the kind designed to efficiently kill lots of humans) should be mandatory nationwide.

What I hear you saying is that you don't want any of these laws in place. You are fine with shooters like the guy in Uvalde having easy access to guns because you also want that same access. That's fine. It really is, but the price again is that mass shootings are more likely and will be more plentiful.

There is nothing we can do to totally eliminate these things, but if we could cut them in half that's a noble goal I think. Of course I understand if you disagree and I won't even call you any names because I am ok with people disagreeing with me. I'm not right about everything and I would like to learn more.

There are certain things that make life worth living...cheese is one of them.

The left, vegans, environmentalists...they want to take away all that we hold dear: steaks, air conditioning, cheese, guns...not on our watch!

Reactions: OHIO COLONEL

On the day Joe Biden started to release oil from the Strategic Oil Reserve to get the price of gasoline down as he thought. Gasoline in my hometown was $3.99 a gallon. Today it is $4.59 a gallon. Way to go Joe, you've got to be the dumbest human being on planet earth. And to think that if the election was held today that there are fools that would vote for this incompetent idiot again. Come to think about it Joe can't be the dumbest person on the planet. The clowns that voted for him are. You Biden voters should really be proud of yourselves.

In 2018 according to FBI statistics there were 14,123 people murdered in the United States. Only 297 of those were murdered with rifles. That's 2% of those murdered were killed with a rifle. I bet if we were to ask a person that watches MSNBC what pct. were killed with a rifle, their dumb brainwashed response would be. Why almost everyone of them were killed with an assault rifle...... This is how dangerous that the media is.

This discussion started bc you said buying guns was easier than cigarettes. Now, we see you believe that is true, in part, because of your priviledge.

Other things seen in your post. (Sorry for the loss of your stepfather, i understand.) You made a profit off his guns. In other words, you are a gun dealer. You also personally made it easier for someone to get guns. (You probably say you hate capitalism too.)

You didnt "hear" any such thing from me. Again, this is your projection of what you want to hear from me. What you did hear, you just said too. I said if a crazy person had 400 guns but never threatened or use them on anyone, then i dont care. You have joined me on that side.

You say there is nothing we can do to eliminate these things. Then you remove the logic chip and replace it w the emotion chip. Besides your initial BS about guns v cigarettes (hopefully you see through that liberal talking point now), this is what irks me. You want to do what "feels good" and not what "is good".

Here is what i will say ... creating target rich ("gun free") zones is not the answer. Restricting rights of law-abiding citizens is not the answer. I agree, those will not help at all and they only lead down the path of tyrannical government. If you truly want to solve this problem, you must go down a different path.

Your proposals are putting band-aids on the amputee. Eventually they do "work" (the bleeding stops), because the amputee eventually runs out of blood. Then, the Ppl putting on the band aids cheer as though they helped.

Saw this yesterday. Startling if true.
"The U.S. has the 3rd highest murder rate in the world.
If you remove 1. Chicago, 2. Detroit, 3. Washington DC, 4. St Louis, 5. Philadelphia
The U.S. is then 189th of 193 countries in the world. All 5 cities have STRICT gun control laws and are ruled by Democrats. Fact check it."

I guess we need to lock down medical facilities and arm Dr's.

So far my list of places that should be locked down and the employees need to be armed includes the following:

Schools
Churches
Groceries
Medical Facilities
Factories
Post offices
Concerts
Public festivals
Parades

I guess if everyone was armed and everything was locked down we wouldn't have any more shootings. Maybe you guys are right?

States with the highest murder rate per capita:

Louisiana (12.4 per 100k)
Missouri (9.8 per 100k)
Nevada (9.1 per 100k)
Maryland (9 per 100k)
Arkansas (8.6 per 100k)
Alaska (8.4 per 100k)
Alabama (8.3 per 100k)
Mississippi (8.2 per 100k)
Illinois (7.8 per 100k)
South Carolina (7.8 per 100k)

That looks like 9/10 led by Republican governor's. What does that mean?

Honestly nothing, because you are misusing a statistic.

Seven, eight years ago the Mrs tested positive for some food allergies. One was milk...not bad...but if she drinks too much or eats too much cheese she has skin reactions. So I bought her some of the plant based cheese.
Ugh! Nasty stuff.
