40 billion divided by 330 million is 120 roughly. Even at Biden 4 bucks a gallon (being generous) and an average gas tank vehicle capacity around 15 gallons, that's more like 2!!! Fillups!

I often wonder how people can read and get what they get out of a post. Nowhere in it did I say he was not a white supremacist. Are you saying that being a white Christian (which this guy was not a Christian and even said so) makes you a white supremacist? If so, you are in no position to lecture someone about credibility. The good news is that this kid has, as everyone agrees, a psychological problem. His illness manifested itself in a paranoid belief about race, rather than being a “sane” white racist. I assume the killer on the NYC subway and the mass killer in Wisconsin also are mentally ill. The desire to make illness a statement about racism in this country is also probably an illness.
I am about as old as anyone who posts on this forum and I can only speak for myself and my circle of friends who are my age for the most part. I detest the U.S. going all over the world jumping from one war to the next. This has been the pattern of the U.S.of A since WWII. which happens to be the last war the U.S. won. We got our butt kicked in Vietnam and now Afghanistan. When will we ever learn? Never because of $$$$$
I am a veteran of the Vietnam era. I lost several friends from my youth before they were 21 years old over there. For what? I am not a pacifist and believe in protecting our Constitution again foreign and domestic enemies. Defending is the key. But too many of our wars have been political and nation building and the only winners are the contrators, politicians and Generals who are looking for another star. Ukraine will make a lot of people rich including Congress and their contracting buddies. It will never end.
So my point is the old men and women are not pushing this war. We have nothing to gain from it except dead sons, daughters and grandchildren. I wore the uniform and saw first hand what was going on and it was not pretty. Even in 1966 to 1968 when I served.

Viet Nam was constantly at war for 45 years. There was an old French graveyard (French Indo China remnant) along the perimeter at DaNang. Some said it was haunted. I think often about the number of Vietnamese who died as part of political struggles. Most of the time, it's not the rich or powerful who go to war. They find a way out. I was working my way through college when Country Joe and the Fish came out with the I Feel Like I'm Fixing To Die Rag. "Be the first one's on your block to have your boy come home in a box". Those words haunted me. I dropped out of school and volunteered to go. I was to green to understand the politics of it, but no mom or dad was going to be able to look me in the eye and say their boy came home in a box because I didn't take my turn.

ACKSUALLLLLY!!...89% of US adults have a drivers license or about 238,183,000 Adults. divide that by 40B and you get about $168 per driver, so really about THREE tanks on average. Fillerup!!
