His not winning had nothing to do with the Pub Jan 6 riot but with him being falsely blamed for the 2020 Dim riots.
Didn't say the riots were the reason. Riots occured post election. Just pointing out how extremist and dangerous he is.
He wasn't reelected because he was President of the Red States of America not United States of America. His ridiculous tweets, non stop divisiveness, lies, attempts to overturn the election, and refusal to accept the election results was offensive as hell to over half the country.
Believe it or not, everyone doesn't like that style of leadership and most even see it as anti-American and anti-democracy.

Of course he was in on it. He wants to lead the Senate again. He didn’t technically lose the Majority. Remember the reports of CIA Director Haspel visiting McConnell’s office after the election.

McConnell has failed the Republican Party in every way imaginable other than getting a couple fake conservatives on the SC.

We tried the tea party and MM and his ilk didn’t listen. We tried Trump and again he and his ilk didn’t listen.

For years, He’s presided over the most disliked congress in American history. We are now more divided as Americans than any time in my lifetime. It’s time for these f*ckers to learn just how fed up we are.

Any rep who voted to impeach…..bye. Any rep who utters the word insurrection…. bye. Any rep not willing to fight these lunatic liberals loudly and proudly…..bye.

Waiting on that clip of Biden stuttering.

Funny how you just gloss that over and pivot to different talking points. I'm not letting this go. Every time you post here, I'm replying with this question, you fraud.

I think MM is way over the top calling it an insurrection.

Here's what I think is going on (And maybe it's already obvious to everyone): MM is so pissed at Trump over Trump calling him out over various issues and because MM was a victim Jan. 6 - meaning had to be evacuated & the Prez formality vote stopped - that he will do everything he can to stop Trump from being nominated again. MM is not going to back down from a fight.

Net, I think MM will announce he is resigning from Senate at the end of 2023 soon after the 2022 elections & won't run for any Senate leadership position. This will give the Senate Pubs a clean sheet to set new Senate leadership. Waiting till the end of 2023 to leave will let the new KY Governor pick his replacement from the list the KY Pub Party gives the Gov - new law in last 2-3 years. The list could be different depending on who the new Gov. is & gives the KY Pubs a year to figure out who will be on the list. The timing also gives replacement candidates two years to decide & campaign.

But most of all, being out of leadership & a lame duck will free MM to totally hammer Trump continually in an effort to derail Trump. Should be a fun fight.

I think that MM is simply counting the numbers. He understands how the leftist media would use a blowtorch to go after Trump with 1-6 to distract the Biden train wreck and their own lunatic fringe who have changed the Dem party for the future. MM understands that he had to publicly express outrage at what happened. You dont have really any GOP leader or conservative leaning pundit who will publicly express support for how that played out. So MM is just the most visible and the "elected" face of the party. He is a pragmatist and frankly the most brilliant tactician that Kentucky has ever produced....and probably as any in the last 100+ years. Trump has THREE SCOTUS picks with a razor thin majority in the Senate. ALL MM. Sometimes you have to say things in public so as to maintain your credibility. MM also knows Kentucky. His fingerprints are all over our state legislature and the supermajorities. He can also cut your throat. Bevin (Odd Duck) biggest mistake was making his first run for office against MM in the primary. He was never going to get the help from MM and his people. The next Gov will be Daniel Cameron if he is not the replacement for MM. Cameron is a MM acolyte.

For the sake of the state, I hope Cameron runs for and is elected governor before he replaces Mitch in the Senate.

Kentucky doesn’t need to mess around with this election next fall.

That said, for many politicians, once they have been governor, being a cog in the Senate doesn’t appeal to them.

Interesting next 2-4 years for Kentucky elections.

I want actual legitimate evidence of Biden stuttering once. Ever. Before 2019. Find it, present it, shut.me up.

Or admit you are a liar just like your boy Biden.

It doesn't exist. He has decades of speeches in the Senate where he flawlessly delivered his remarks. The remarks themselves were stupid of course but they were delivered flawlessly. He was actually a great speaker.

This should go well given their results in Afghanistan:

"Senior U.S. defense officials confirmed to Fox News' Jennifer Griffin Wednesday a report in The Wall Street Journal saying that the "White House has approved a Pentagon plan for U.S. troops in Poland to help thousands of Americans likely to flee Ukraine if Russia attacks."

Sad.

Didn't know this:

"Every Republican who flipped a Democratic House district in 2020 was a woman or person of color, and party leaders want to replicate that success on a larger scale."

"So far, more than 253 women and 228 people of color have filed to run as Republicans across the House map, the committee says. In the most important seats, roughly two dozen open and battleground districts, a leading GOP candidate is either a woman or a person of color."

Doesn't sound to me that the changing US demographics - mainly less white - is a problem at all.

It isn’t, people of all races, creed and religion want to be free. They saw the difference of philosophies in the last 2 years IMO.
