I think this is a fair and balanced take on this topic.

The article basically makes two accusations.

1) Old white politicians make racist gaffes: Of course they do. Joe Biden is a 79 yr old centrist. Not a leftist. What he is is completely out of touch. Indeed, like other Americans (including Republicans), much of their displays of racism are not done deliberately. To be clear, I also don’t believe that Barbara Boxer, Doug Jones, or Joe Biden are racists. These incidents are examples of politicians making racialized statements to make a point without understanding the connotations of their remarks."

2) Being upset when a black person aligns with the American right because conservatives have always hated and oppressed the black community: Duh. It's upsetting when the poor white community sides with those same conservatives who support the billionaires over our own economic interest too. That makes us intelligent, perceptive, and empathetic. Not racist.

First, all of you have a utopian view of Europe. I've explained this before...Europe is a dying continent. The gdp of Missouri is higher than most European countries.

Drive an hour outside of Paris and look at the slums and immigrants who've never been given the opportunity to assimilate or look at the slums they stuff all the Africans in outside the city. It's not like America where the inner city is where it's bad so you can't compare.

I mean yeah I guess it's nice to let the US pay for everything to keep you safe in europe.

The US at one time had the best education system in the world...then the department of education was created and its been downhill ever since. Full of misappropriation in funds to beaurocrats keeping money at the board level and never doing anything for students or eduEurope.
