History was made tonight, for the first

I turned it off at the 8 minute mark of the first half. Checked on my phone until halftime, and went and did something else. No sense in sitting through an ass kicking.

I kept this one on in the background till the end while working on other things, but I turned off the last game with about 10 minutes to go.

Luckily, Cal got me so jaded that the losses are easier to accept. I’m sure I would be more upset if we were healthy, but I saw so much good in the early season when we were. This team was far better than anyone expected early on and we will never know how the season would have gone bad we avoided injuries.

Wise decision. The latter part of the first half I found even more unforgivable than the defense being played. It was like the end of the OSU game. The guys gave up. Took a 13 point no show deficit to 23 at halftime in just a few minutes.

When they did get their heads into it a bit more in the second half those free 10 points they spotted them could’ve actually made the game worth watching.

I’ll deal with bad defense from unathletic bad defenders. Is what it is to some extent. But to give up emotionally is unacceptable and they’ve done it multiple times now.

Up until around 5 years ago or so I’d never missed a single minute of UK games. Kal slowly made me apathetic towards the program so I’d got to where I would only watch if it was almost a sure win. Everything else I’d skip and if they happened to win then I might watch a replay.

I was back to watching every minute this year until about a month ago. Now I’m back to not watching. Arkansas was the first full game I’d watched in weeks. There’s just no reason to watch when you have zero faith in your coach and watching only causes your blood pressure to go sky high.
