The largest military in the world seizing an island nation that sits right off the coast or China and Russia coordinating invasions. Both are highly likely and unless the US wants a full scale global war against Russia China and its proxy’s the US would not get involved. Ukraine isn’t a NATO nation and we owe them ziltch. Eastern Ukraine heavily favors Russia the way Belarus does. why would we fight that war?

Russian ties to Ukraine are way deeper than most Americans care to understand, dating back to the founding of the Russian nation in the Kievan Rus. Russia has also always seen itself as the great defender/father of the Slavic people. After the end of the cold war an independent and NATO oriented Ukraine and eastern Europe can understandably be construed as a direct threat to Russian security if you put yourself in Putin's shoes.
I feel for them like any freedom loving person should, but this is not a foreign policy issue America should involve itself in militarily. Unfortunately the Ukrainians are a in a similar position the Poles were in before WWII, geopolitically stuck between two blocks of divergent aspirations.
What is going to happen is Russia is going to solidify its influence in modern eastern Ukraine and NATO is going to cease expanding eastward but maintain its alliances. Both sides get a portion of what they want and global security is not threatened.

I don’t know anything about that in regards to you but very educated geographically for the most part but why would anyone want to align with Russia? Seems like a losing situation.
My favorite (not really) is the dating one with the black dude putting peanut butter on bread and feeding the white dude. They try to be extra woke with the gay and biracial angles. Just something creepy about that commercial.
There was also a hotel one that tried to hit a grand slam with their sucking up. Started with a gay couple, then a biracial couple, followed by a muslim family.
It's just ridiculous all the pandering they do toward minority groups. Tossing an occasional one in from time to time is one thing but they do it in every commercial now. If I were gay I would be sick of it knowing that they are just pissing off a large portion of the country that does nothing to further their cause.

I think you are mostly right. Except I don't think Putin would be satisfied with part of Ukraine. Only temporarily. He is very much a Stalinist, very unhappy and embarrassed with the collapse of the old Soviet Union and would like it back.
