Let me tell how great our capitalistic country is. I come from a military family. My father served in the Army 33 years and retired back in KY from where he was born and raised.
We have been and lived all over the world and I have a pretty good experience of how other countries are like. In my last year of high school I went to 4 different ones before my last at Clark Co High in Wnchester. When I got there the marxist school system said they couldn't honor 3 credits that they didn't approve of. I came up short by 1/2 credit even though I have seen and experienced many world historical places. Yes I could have taken the GED test but thats not the point here.
So I never received my high school diploma. Today I am 67 and I live in a paid off $300,000 home, over 1/2 million in my retirement account and put two children through college. I moved my own family out of the poorly run school system that KY to the State of Iowa for just that reason. The school system is ranked 3 in the country and they went to best rated high school in the country. They are now on their own making 6 figure incomes themselves.
So don't tell me and probably 99% others on here how bad our capitalistic system is here. Your success and everyones success is predicated on what choices we make and how hard we are willing to work for them.

Median home price was $17k. That's $113k in today's dollars. Median home price today is $337k. The same house costs us three times what it cost you. The same is true in the rest of the economy. Meanwhile our productivity is over twice yours. Sorry boomer, but America and capitalism ain't what they used to be in your day. Your survivorship bias has no relevancy to 2022.

I'm not a boomer and you didn't answer my questions, of course. The cost of real estate and other goods has nothing to do with CEO pay. It's directly related to inflation which is directly related to mostly liberal runaway spending.
If boomers were so terrible why are liberals still living in their boomer parents basements? Programmers aren't sacrificing their body to earn money like many boomers had to. Many boomers from eky grew up with outdoor toilets and other hardships as opposed to now just playing video games all day. So no, we absolutely do not have it harder.
