I may be mistaken, but in the Supreme Court case for OSHA mandated vaccines, the CDC testified that there is basically no evidence that the current vaccine is effective against Omicron. It's less effective against Delta vs the original but very little benefit of the vaccine vs omicron. Which is most likely why so many vaccinated and boosted individuals (myself included) caught omicron.

They did away with superdelegates. You’re remembering discussion of second and third ballot procedure if no candidate reached the required number and no one got the nomination on first ballot. They can theoretically put up someone who wasn’t even in the primaries, but it was just wild speculation. It’s extremely unlikely to ever happen as it’d be seen as flouting the will of the voters.

I think a significantly lower risk of hospitalization is effectiveness, but obviously could be better.

I have no idea personally who Biden will nominate, but I know that fidelity to the Constitution and the rule of law won't matter any where nearly as much as the nominee's skin color, gender, sexual orientation, etc. and their ability to show "empathy".
In other words, a nominee who knows how they will decide cases before they are argued, and will simply employ the requisite contorted logic to justify the decision.
Bernie lost both 2016 and 2020. People were crying about the superdelegates being shown along with pledged delegates early on so it looked like Hillary's lead was larger than it really was, but she was still ahead either way and ultimately got more votes and pledged delegates. This narrative you're trying to sell that the people wanted Bernie and we got Hillary is completely bull, he just didn't win. And that's coming from a staunch Bernie supporter. This 'Dem primaries are rigged' story is some made-up crap to feign GOP moral superiority that doesn't exist.
I wouldn't say the people wanted Bernie. I think he was losing regardless. However we eventually found out it was all decided prior, so the election was just for show. So it really didn't matter what people wanted, because they were going to get what the dnc gave them

You would have to have a group who are of the same age group, similar health status, then would have to get the same strain of virus to compare. You also have no way of knowing how you would have felt getting the virus without the vaccine. These are all impossible to prove.
Before the vaccine was even a possibility, COVID affected people differently. Some didn't bat an eye. Some were bad off. The jab was marketed as "Get this so you don't get sick and you can get back to normal." Now that the jabbed are getting the virus, the goalpost shifts to "We never said you wouldn't get it. Just the symptoms aren't as bad." First, that's not a vaccine then. Second, this new narrative is now showing those who did not get the jab do not affect anyone else but themselves. Under this logic, there's no reason for the mandates.
Like others have pointed out, if a manufacturer didn't even know their shot wasn't worth a shit after a handful of months and you need three shots a year and continue to pitch a new jab, a new pill, a new booster and on and on it goes, there's no way they know the long term effects of the jab.
Essentially what is happening is similar to when the “gender wage gap” and “college rape” stats are thrown out. Just a headline. No look at how flawed the data is.

I am unvaxxed and caught both the og and omicron. Had no issue with either. That's how anecdotes work.
As for omicron, the risk of hospitalization is so low across the board, a vaccine really has no impact.
Imo nearly every covid hospitalization right now is from Delta or are still there long term from delta.
