I don’t know anything about chapelle’s political leanings but i have to admire him for this.

He was a huge Obama supporter.

And at least one more big one to go. Gonna need that kind of environment when UT comes to town. I think we will. This could be an epic season. Not conceding anything next week.

I agree about UT game.

Even if we lose next week, if we don’t have a hiccup against UT or MSU, we could still go 11-1 and play in the Sugar Bowl.

That’s a great seasons and if we ha the chance to beat a team like OU or Texas in that game, we could really make a statement that we can build upon. Especially when you consider that Stoops should be here for the long haul.

Our programs definitely has momentum.

Right now it's all about the injuries. Loosing Oxendine for the season was a massive blow to an already thin DLine. If Bully get well soon then we have a chance. Otherwise one of those manlets on the bench is going to have to grow a couple of jock sizes really quick.

"Democrats want to get rid of the filibuster, desperately, but they know if they simply do it to ram a massive entitlement program or giant spending bill the public would punish them. There’s also the problem that many of their members are on record saying they wouldn’t get rid of the filibuster. There’s a difference if they break their word to protect the country from default and financial ruin, which they claim about the debt ceiling, and if they break it for a massive spending bill that subsidizes their donors and friends.
By ending their filibuster on the debt limit vote, McConnell prevented Democrats from ending the filibuster for any reason other than naked politics, which is exactly what they don’t want to happen. Their cover was gone and they’d been boxed in.
When you can’t get your way, it’s best to create a scenario where your opponents have to pay the highest price possible for getting theirs. It’s the only thing that’ll give them pause, and your only remaining shot an ultimate victory.
What will Democrats do now? We don’t know. But we do know they would’ve gutted the filibuster under the guise of “saving the country from default.” With it gone, it would’ve been game on for whatever else they wanted to pass. But that dam wasn’t broken, it’s still there now. Which makes it harder and costlier politically if they do it in the future for issues that aren’t “emergency” matters.
You can hate Mitch McConnell for a lot of things, any reason you want, really, what the hell do I care?
But whatever reason you want to hate him for should be based on reality. And the reality is, no matter how much blowhards whine and pander to their audiences to sounds “super conservative,” what transpired this week was the smart play. Every honest Monday Morning Quarterback knows that’s the case.

Let's go, Mitch!!

Ran my car thru the touchless car wash yesterday... top selection for all the bells and whistles is usually $9. It is now $11. I go thru there about once/week, so that is a brand-new price.

$2 increase for the smell-good rainbow soap? I think some owners are starting to take advantage of the perceived inflation and just tacking on cost here and there to line their wallets...
$11 still cheap vs. what I pay.

There is no defense for Mitch McConnell at this point. I hated McConnell more than anyone (check the posting history), but came to his side with the Garland move.

Since then, every move he’s made has been anti-American, always being defended as being in the best interest of politics.

Yet every single one of those moves has ensured the Republicans are politically dead and the country is worse off every time he makes a move.

He cares far more about old guard party than country.

Ben was too easy on her, maybe he was being a gentleman. She admits her business is sham.

Never trust someone who says what the workers want, esp when they aren't one of the workers.

She also says CRT not taught in elementary school, Ben blows it away. She can't accept it.

Her answer on CA recall. What a joke. Lol

She gets worse as she goes. Corporate income tax ... no fing clue that "workers" pay the Corp tax through higher prices.

She isn't smart enough to understand his points. Finnish American is an easy example.

She was also quite rude, cutting him off many times and kept on talking after time. Of course, she's a lib. Rules don't really mean much.

My bro was telling me the other day about an article he read (can't remember where) comparing two Indian provinces (whatever they're called). One where the population is highly vaccinated and the other one...right next door...not. The one that is highly vaccinated has an extremely high Covid rate right now...the non-vaxed one, not so much.
Article may have been sent to him by his DIL. She's a doctor here in Ohio of Indian descent (lot of relatives still there)

Biden has set record stock market every day of his Presidency! To bad that LOSER Trump could never get the market to this kind of BOOM! Republican Presidents always destroy the economy and a Democrat has to come in and clean up the shit stains. Maybe one day the rednecks will learn to not vote against their interests.

LMAO....Now if you are from Louisville, its no surprise why people and business's wanna stay away from that crime ridden dump..AND like they really buy Fords..

Group of West Louisville activists call for Ford boycott

What a bunch of lazy ass whiners. get off your asses and go where the jobs are instead of stomping your feet and demanding the jobs be brought to your doorstep. how many people left their homes in appalachia to go north to work in the steel and paper mills and automobile plants in michigan? many of them didn’t have a “means to commute“ either. my cousin sold his car in ‘67 so he and his new wife could buy a bus ticket to take them from eky to dearborn mich where he eventually retired as a tool and die maker at a gm plant.
