Offspring Drummer Says He’s Been Booted From Band for Not Getting Vaccinated

Pete Parada, the drummer for the Offspring, says he has been told not to report for tour or studio duties because he won't get the vaccine.

Parada says in his posts that he previously had a case of COVID, and thus believes he has the antibodies. But in any case, he contends his lifelong history with Guillain-Barré Syndrome puts him at greater risk for side effects from a vaccination, before adding that he is supportive of anyone who resists getting the vaccine for any number of reasons, from fear of side effects to distrust of the medical and governmental establishment.

I post this because I grew up listening to The Offspring. Pretty messed up.

No jab is the newest form of discrimination. It would fit right in with 1940’s Nazi Germany and pre-1965 America. The guy even has a medical reason and has been ADVISED BY HIS DOCTOR not to get the vaccine... but it still doesn’t matter. Covid is far too scary to take a chance with. Get the vaccine or be made an outcast from society. Those are going to be the new rules soon enough.

The GB is a very serious and legitimate concern.
Something all the new medical “experts” don’t seem to have a grasp of.

I’m repeating myself, but we went from a nation that coddled and excepted almost every single special interest group, to completely ignoring legitimate medical excuses - almost overnight.

He is the “ President” of the senate, it says it right there in your quote. The President of anything is the leader.
You are acting as if it’s just a ceremonial procedure, it isn’t. Again, if The NY Times ram the story on the real world scenario I posted above, are you suggesting that under no scenario the count couldn’t be stopped or postponed? That is an absurd notion, of course it could, and the “ President” of the senate would make that motion.
