So instead of trying to draw some line on how much one individual is allowed to "waste resources", because again depending on who is drawing that line, it will always change. We are better off just not drawing that line to begin with.
This final paragraph is what I was responding to. It’s complete nonsense. You can’t just opt out of living in the world because it’s inconvenient and complicated. Well you can, and if you’re so inclined go for it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Im not saying its inconvenient and complicated, Im saying that every person has a different view on where that line is.

For example, Bernie Sanders used to bash on millionaires saying no one needs to be that rich and that they should spread their wealth. Well, then Bernie became a millionaire bought a few houses and now says billionaires.

Again someone in the middle class may say someone owning 3 houses and a yacht is wasting resources and that person should spread their wealth. While a poor person may say someone who owns 2 cars is wasting resources and that person should spread their wealth. While a poor person in a 3rd world country may think someone who has a Netflix, Hulu, ESPN+, and Amazon Prime account is wasting resources and they should spread their wealth.

This is the same reason why hate speech laws are ridiculously stupid and freedom of speech is by far the best approach to go. You can find pretty much anyone who is offended by one word or another, so its beyond stupid to try and create an idiotic line on what is considered offensive/hateful and not.

Its called freedom, you may not always like what people say or what they spend their money on. Learn to deal with it.

Freedom of speech isn’t absolute. There are restrictions on what you can say where both here and everywhere else around the globe. Somehow you’ve failed to realize there’s always a line. Nothing is absolute. So we have to do the hard work of deciding where to draw that line. We don’t get to throw up our hands and not participate just because it’s contentious. More “freedom” would be things like more sick and maternity leave, paid vacation, mental health access. Not whatever “be completely amoral and not be confronted on it” illusion you’re selling.

I have a nice pontoon. Gold plating it would be pointless, tacky, and probably one of the dumbest ideas anyone could think of. Wouldn’t you agree?
No, if you have the money and wish to spend it, go for it. Now, I am not saying if you have that kind of money and could help people out... then, I think you should do that as well.

Is this supposed to be funny or something?

We will find that it was these 99 other problems that killed him and not the virus. Agenda driven reporters and supportive woke hospital workers will ensure for now that it is Covid. Later on we will find that he died of something else not even Covid related.

It’s being reported by every network. There are multiple quotes from his wife and brother. It takes more effort to post disputing the source than to just google it yourself and find a source you like. You’re such a troll.
False. People staff reporting tells me that this is not the truth. Plus, every liberal network bought into Jussie Smollett, Hands up don't shoot, high school kids harassing native American, Nascar's noose on garage door, and the list goes on. Troll? No. Think for myself after continuous fake news reports? Yes.

Perhaps if the liberal news agencies would actually start reporting real news instead of the fake woke crap you guys believe, I could start believing them.

That just means you don't understand freedom of speech like you don't understand economics.

The "line" of freedom of speech is no where near "You have to call me by a made up pronoun, I demand it!" just like wealth is not zero sum.

Are you going to retract your misleading video, or just go on pretending like it showed what you wanted people to be deceived it did?

I have been following politics for probably 20 years or so, and I have never in my life heard of Phil Valentine.
Exactly, probably like the lady on CNN who is supposed to be a conservative only to find out on her social media pages that she is clearly a liberal dim. Once again proving as I posted above, liberal media paints the picture they want you to see and not the truth.

Due to the conditions of the bet..."The Reds are the greatest"

Anyway, haven't you said your like 30 years old? You started following politics at 10? That must have been awful...

The other kids are eating candy and playing video games and screwduke is like 'so what do y'all think about the Iraq war?'
FREE CHARLIE HUSTLE!

Lmao. I started I think it was shortly after 9/11.

I believe there is a schism between conservatives and liberals regarding the vaccinations. If more incidents like Mr Valentine continue to occur, I wonder if people will take responsibility for their own choices or will some blame the media. Blame them how?

“Well, if the media had proven more trustworthy in the past, maybe we would have listened when they were giving us information on the vaccine.” That kind of sounds like what @warrior-cat is saying. That’s unfortunate.

I had covid and did not change my stance on masks or vaccinations.

I don't know what the f-ck is going on...is this the end times?
I just want to point out that growing up I wanted Kentucky to beat Tennessee and Florida in football before I died. Every year was the same result and went one of two ways:

1. an epic beat down with Kentucky only scoring 3-10 points.

2. a game Kentucky dominated for 3 quarters but then managed to give the game away in heartbreaking fashion.

After our 2007 team lost in 4 overtimes to Tennessee I told a friend of mine, “If Kentucky ever beats Tennessee and Florida, I’ll know the end times are upon us. It’s clearly part of God’s timeline for the end of days.”

2018. Three years later, we’ve had world wide lock downs, cities burnt to the ground, men playing with women, people identifying as three spirit and toasters, a push for children to get hormones, a rushed vaccine, and finally the most screwed up thing of them all... the Reds owning the Cards.

If you aren’t on your knees praying at this point... you’re a fool.

Yes, that would be tacky and dumb. Just like some of the jacked-up cars you see.

Back to the first thing ... you have a pontoon... no idea your parents are rednecks. :)

BTW, you should sell it and give the money to Bernie or AOC. Those 2 know better than you on HOW you should spend your money. Just an idea...

Dion, is this yours?

THere's certainly a strong delusion, a celebration of unrighteousness and what is false.

I have a few questions on this.

Who owns the boat? What did that individual do to create the wealth to be able to afford that boat? How much has that individual given to charity? How many people have benefitted from the things that individual created to amass the amount of wealth to own that boat?

Also do you not have anything that others could consider a waste of resources to others in this world? Have you ever owned two cars? Have you ever owned a house that had more bedrooms than you needed? Do you have some pointless subscriptions to like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or whatever?

All of those things can be considered a waste of resources and that money you waste on those things can be given to people who can really use that money. Even if its just 30-50 bucks worth a month, that can still be life changing for some people in this world.

So instead of trying to draw some line on how much one individual is allowed to "waste resources", because again depending on who is drawing that line, it will always change. We are better off just not drawing that line to begin with.
You forgot one question. What the f*** business is it of yours?

The media has proven itself to be unreliable for the most part in recent years and people like you seem to only key on things that might be true which is a very small portion of their overall reporting. Problem is, most dims have (by design) short memories on all of the proven fake news (which is most of it) and have this I told you so attitude when one out of the many is proven to be true.

That’s unfortunate.
It is, but that’s what they’ve done.

My son went through a stage where he thought he could lie his way out of anything. He lied about staying up late. Lied about eating all the snack food. Lied about doing his homework. Eventually I had to question and be skeptical of nearly everything he told me. The difference here is my wife and I can keep him in check. He was punished over and over, and finally learned coming clean was a lot easier on him than lying.

No one holds the media accountable or keeps them in check. When they report something false or agenda driven, they just move on like it never happened or double down with no consequence.

Just yesterday they (the CDC, media, whoever) decided to admit their testing method (which was the “gold standard”) had to be revoked because it couldn’t differentiate between the flu and covid. I remember discussing that very issue here last year. Several posters here knew this last year. Why did it take over a year for it to be reported? (I think we both know the answer there)

Point is, it’s hard to trust anything anymore. The MSM is clearly bought and paid for and social media/government are declaring themselves arbiters of truth, while the government is refusing to answer questions they don’t like. You have to do your own research, go through multiple search pages, and read through entire articles before you feel educated on a matter... and even then, who really knows? When mass amounts of money are involved anything is possible.

Pontoons are the best I think. They are very stable and are great for fishing and partying. Unfortunately, I can't afford one. I wonder if Dion's parents will let me borrow that one too.

It's as if dims have never heard the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". And they say they are educated. Pfftttt!

Been thinking about this a little ... when Kamala said she wouldn't trust a vaccine that Orange Man recommended (https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertain...trust-a-vaccine-trump-recommended/ar-BB19O9k4) was she playing politics? Or was she making a valid point?

Gas Dropped 30 cents today. Lumber futures took a huge dive. Thanks Biden for dick punching that inflation! He just never stops getting shit done.
Bill Barr now says their was no election fraud. We just can't stop winning!
To quite the great Bill “We realized from the beginning it was just bullshit,”

He told Karl that even if the machines had somehow changed the tally, the issue would be made obvious when the votes were recounted by hand.

“It’s a counting machine, and they save everything that was counted,” Barr said. “So you just reconcile the two. There had been no discrepancy reported anywhere, and I’m still not aware of any discrepancy.”
* KA - BOOM *

Shut up. Please STFU. Thanks.

I got vaxxed in March as I am 70. As the nurse was sticking me, I told her that Covid had cured the flu as nobody seems to be dying from the flu. She said it’s because people are masked and washing their hands. I looked at her and asked if she really believed that, she said yes, don’t you? I said hell no, they are counting everything as Covid to inflate the numbers. The brain washing runs deep

I'm saying that rate difference is another consequence of the white privilege you're saying doesn't exist. So how do you explain it?

Haha, dude got destroyed by that cop

Lol listen to those insane screams and wails. These are the same fools that used to tie themselves to trees and yell at the sky. They were just recruited and repurposed by the libs. They all should've been chokeslammed and spent a few nights in jail.
