You're right....looks more like a crook or an antifa organizer.
LOL.....he's the Lt Gov of Pennsylvania who I guess is running for the US Senate.

This person if you can call it a person. That is against voter ID, but would be in favor of showing proof that you've had the COVID vaccine before you can vote in the future. Or if you don't get the vaccine you can't buy, sell or trade. Him & his democrat party is that evil & dangerous.

I hate Rex. He’s absolutely terrible. Remember when he was on this board under his burner account shit talking this state and its people?

This guy had nothing to with UK for almost 30 years and now he’s a voice? lol. What a joke.
Rex is one of the least genuine people you will ever meet. On top of that he isn’t very bright. Has to be an exhausting way to live. Great basketball talent though who could have been much greater if he wasn’t so full of shit.

I have been following politics for probably 20 years or so, and I have never in my life heard of Phil Valentine.
That matters to the value of his POV just how much? I thought everyone's view was supposed to count equally (Or is that equitably now?).

I got vaxxed in March as I am 70. As the nurse was sticking me, I told her that Covid had cured the flu as nobody seems to be dying from the flu. She said it’s because people are masked and washing their hands. I looked at her and asked if she really believed that, she said yes, don’t you? I said hell no, they are counting everything as Covid to inflate the numbers. The brain washing runs deep
Kids get the flu. Kids didn't get the flu last winter. So were only adults getting the flu; i.e., an unusual adults-only flu, & those were getting counted as covid?

I believe there is a schism between conservatives and liberals regarding the vaccinations. If more incidents like Mr Valentine continue to occur, I wonder if people will take responsibility for their own choices or will some blame the media. Blame them how?

“Well, if the media had proven more trustworthy in the past, maybe we would have listened when they were giving us information on the vaccine.” That kind of sounds like what @warrior-cat is saying. That’s unfortunate.
If media and or government had been more truthful, both recently and over the years, I'd be more likely to believe them now. They have proven to me over the years that they will lie to post a narrative that fits their needs. I've worked for government both in military and civilian life. You can't pick and choose when you tell me the truth and expect me to believe you.

Politics, but I certainly see your point. But I think that would be giving her a benefit she doesn’t deserve. I am going to say more likely politics.
I appreciate you answering, and I suspect, answering honestly. Not many lefties do. This was a "no-win".

If she was playing politics then, is there a chance she is politics now? And if she's playing politics, does she truly believe anything she is saying now (or ever), or just another power-hungry pol who is getting rich and powerful off of us? And if that is the case, then why should i believe anything she says? If she truly "believes" now, will she give any credit to Orange Man Bad for OWS and the vax rollout? I doubt it. She is only symbolic of the ungodly trinity between the left, media, and corporations and why most no longer trust them.

Have a blessed day.

I know it is anecdotal, but of the recent rash I have personally witnessed, 100% of the positives I know have been vax'd. Some of them are already cleared and back to work. (Vax doesn't stop "catch & spread", but maybe it lessens the impact.)

I just want to point out that growing up I wanted Kentucky to beat Tennessee and Florida in football before I died. Every year was the same result and went one of two ways:

1. an epic beat down with Kentucky only scoring 3-10 points.

2. a game Kentucky dominated for 3 quarters but then managed to give the game away in heartbreaking fashion.

After our 2007 team lost in 4 overtimes to Tennessee I told a friend of mine, “If Kentucky ever beats Tennessee and Florida, I’ll know the end times are upon us. It’s clearly part of God’s timeline for the end of days.”

2018. Three years later, we’ve had world wide lock downs, cities burnt to the ground, men playing with women, people identifying as three spirit and toasters, a push for children to get hormones, a rushed vaccine, and finally the most screwed up thing of them all... the Reds owning the Cards.

If you aren’t on your knees praying at this point... you’re a fool.
"The Reds are the greatest..."

When I was kid, Kentucky was rarely on live tv. I had to watch UK games the old fashioned way...at midnight on tape delay, and the announcer was Mr. Charisma...aka Rob Bromley.

The year was 1994...we had just beat Louisville in the season opener... I was in attendance for that game. The next week...UK football going to be on national tv dogg! Playing the Florida Gators...Steve Spurrier. My dad is the biggest UK football fan I ever met. Had season tickets since like the 1970s...this dude loves UK basketball, but he would sacrifice winning national championship in basketball just to play in a football SEC championship game.

My mom is a great cook...the Cats on national tv! It was a big day in our household. I still remember the amount of food my mom cooked...it was just me and my dad watching the game, but we had enough food in front of us for 10 people to eat for a week. Excitement and anticipation filled the air...

Florida won 73-7.

Yeah, I posted about this game on a thread on Wildcat Lair. To save some time:
Post in thread 'Ever embarrassed in the past to be a UK football fan?'

I feel your pain…. As a side note, my wife attended that game against UofL, and of course had no idea until much later that it would be the only win of season that year.

hahahaha...UK football. We know the game. We know the pain.

When the game dubbed "The Bluegrass Miracle" happened...my dad saw the final play, didn't say a word. Just walked out the door. We had a 100 acres...I didn't see him for 2 hours. I truly think he walked into the forest behind our house. When he returned...he didn't mention the game. And I didn't either.

While he was nicknamed after your boy...there is only one Charlie Hustle in my book.

Ever hear of Pete Reiser? When Branch Rickey was building the Cardinal farm system, Pete was his prodigy. Judge Landis (baseball commissioner) made the Cards release numerous minor league players because the Cards had a competitive advantage. Pete was the one Rickey wanted to keep most, but the Dodgers got him. Pee Wee Reese once said, if you think Pete Rose hustles, you should have seen Pete Reiser.

I was at my girlfriends house. They had a farm and were building a new barn. I was helping them. We were listening to the game on the radio and Kentucky had just went ahead on the FG. The kicker was was Taylor Begley who had played at Boyle County, the school my girlfriend attended. Her mom said, “Woo hoo! The Boyle County kid is the hero!”

Being taught many painful lessons by Kentucky football, I looked at her and said there are still precious seconds left... Kentucky has ripped my heart out one too many times... it’s not over until the clock reads all zeroes.

We sat in silence for awhile. Only after several minutes had went by did I respond, “See?”

haha...that poor woman. You realize your the asshole in the story...right?

UK football fans need a support group...now that I think about it, this is the place.

We are traumatized...I have always been sadly amused about the collective groan of tens of thousands of people at the game when something bad happens late. Kentucky can be up 17 points, something bad happens with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter...the whole stadium just deflates. Everyone is thinking 'they are going break our hearts again'.

My wife and I were at that game… with a guy I went to UK with and his wife. People were in shock after that game….quietest post game crowd I’ve ever seen.

My lovely wife is a La native and big LSU fan, but to her credit she didn’t rub it in….until later….
