Taking a second to watch the Olympics. Why? If equity is the goal, why perpetrate an activity which clearly illustrates that inequity is the only plausible outcome.

Oh that's why all week some libs called to cancel it forever, not just this year.

Sports is capitalism in motion. All have the same rules and the best win. That's why libs hate it and that's why it was the first part of life attacked with socialism via trophy culture.

That isn't the choice. It's about the distribution of resources. There is no way you can argue that making an entire yacht out of gold just because you can advances the quality of goods and services.

It's a gaudy, gauche abomination that is nothing but a pure waste of resources in a display of conspicuous consumption.
I have a few questions on this.

Who owns the boat? What did that individual do to create the wealth to be able to afford that boat? How much has that individual given to charity? How many people have benefitted from the things that individual created to amass the amount of wealth to own that boat?

Also do you not have anything that others could consider a waste of resources to others in this world? Have you ever owned two cars? Have you ever owned a house that had more bedrooms than you needed? Do you have some pointless subscriptions to like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or whatever?

All of those things can be considered a waste of resources and that money you waste on those things can be given to people who can really use that money. Even if its just 30-50 bucks worth a month, that can still be life changing for some people in this world.

So instead of trying to draw some line on how much one individual is allowed to "waste resources", because again depending on who is drawing that line, it will always change. We are better off just not drawing that line to begin with.

Haha I have mixed badminton duos (so 1 guy and 1 girl on each team) on in the background as I get some work done. Its pretty hilarious to watch because its beyond obvious what every team's game plan is. Try and hide the female and let the man be as aggressive as possible and try and attack the female on the opposing team. Even a sport like Badminton the difference in the sexes is beyond obvious.

There's a concept called effective altruism or something like that where people literally donate all their earning past the 40k or whatever they need for necessities, or they do something like instead of joining doctors without borders, they go in to private practice as a plastic surgeon and donate half a mill per year to them.

None of those people are leftists American Marxists.

Great point. All of these frauds that want to raise taxes (now the mantra is on the "wealthy", but it is not a "wealth" tax by ANY stretch) can all give MORE than what they are required. AOC, prime example. Antifa Joe is another great example.

So we just let people do whatever they want with whatever they can get their hands on? I would expect as much coming from the libertarian. Sorry this is the real world. We're all in this tiny lifeboat floating in the vastness of space together. And just a few of us have the technological power to screw it all up for everyone. We have to be careful with that power and mindful of how we use it. You just throw your hands up and say since it's difficult we shouldn't try. Not only is that cowardly it's completely impractical since there are almost 8 billion people in the world all with different ideas, goals, and motivations. And spoiler alert, some of them are pretty nasty. The absolute individual autonomy utopia you dream of is just an anarchical The Purge nightmare.

One of the wealthiest people on earth just spent millions of dollars to take a joy ride into space. He also happens to be one of the most liberal people on the planet. Are you referring to him.

If liberals are so caring, why don't they give away all their wealth in excess of what the average person has? Seems like they are more interested in other people's money.

I'd bet the farm not a single Catpaw leftist even donates a dollar when asked at the grocery checkout.

Bezos gave 100 million to Van Jones to use as he saw fit toward whatever liberal cause. Eat the Rich! and that just goes away while you raise my prime membership more than it otherwise would've.

Yeah. He sucks. He’s a neoliberal piece of crap with no real values. Who prevents his workers from unionizing. He and Bloomberg would be Republicans if American conservatives weren’t so batshit far right.

casino ID scans are actually doing 6 layers of imaging of the ID to check if its a fake. They are also pinging databases for banned customers. voting centers only scan the barcode on the back. The code quickly feeds your basic info. They can also easily be faked or modified with SWIPE. KY doesn't check you ID against a database because credit cards and college ID's are acceptable ID's.

Lester Holt and science experts say you can get covid if you’re vaccinated, but you have a small chance of dying...

JUST LIKE YOU WOULD IF YOU WERENT VACCINATED.

SCIENCE!

So, naturally, they’re urging for more testing and more masks/regulations.
My sister’s sister in law got the moderna vaccine earlier this year. Yesterday she tested positive for covid. She’s not deathly ill... but isn’t feeling well at all... just like most people who catch it that are healthy and have a good immune system.

Of course I’m not sure what test they used. Could have been the flu at this point. What a damn mess.

Oh well. Trust the science!!!!

So far, our "woke" country has no medals out of 38 already won. Yeah, I know, track and field, basketball and a few other strong points still to go.

Wimp. Get a job and buy your own Buoyancy Operated Aquatic Transport (BOAT).

Leftist scum gonna leftist scum... can't put that genie back in the bottle "liberals." [laughing]

Got a good chuckle watching that takedown... three times
Yeah me too. Laughed out loud and my wife ask what was so funny. I showed her and said it was a shame his face wasn't planted so his teeth could be removed to grow more.
