I'm good with it. The Rockets have quickly turned into a dumpster fire, firing a good coach, Harden categorically refusing to play defense, and Dwight Howard poisoning the locker room. Let TJ get out of there and join UK West!

Honestly, I wonder if there are any statistics out there on fan following and merchandise sales going up since adding so many former UK players. I myself have purchased a Suns shirt in the past 6 months. You add T Jones and you might get even more fans from the BBN.

How about an exhibition game between the Phoenix Wildcats and the University of Kentucky Wildcats; home and home 2 game combo next season. This would be huge next year with what we have coming in.

Before you guys go nuts, it's a joke; although it would be amazing to watch, and probably a recruiting tsunami!

Good point and I would like to add that Markieff Morris is being somewhat of a cancer to the Suns this year. It would be great to get rid of him and to free Jones from the mess that Houston is.

Haha I'm debating making a similar purchase. I don't have an NBA team, so I just "root for the UK players," but if you put 5 on 1 team that may be enough to sway me. [thumb2]

That would be an uptick for the Suns roster. TJ > Morris any day of the week!

Morris PIE, according to NBA.com: 6.4%
TJ PIE....9%

I like PIE!!! I am liking Pecan PIE at present more than others....that may change if a better variety is offered.;)

jones has been quite a good player, he's just had some injuries, and now clint capela has emerged as a borderline star in the making

mchale seems to have been considered a lousy coach near universally

At what point should they change their name to the Phoenix Wildcats?

I was thinking Phoenix Suns of Kentucky. Sort of along the lines of what MLB's Angels did with their franchise, calling themselves the LA Angels of Anaheim. Phoenix Wildcats is good, but the state of Arizona already has the Wildcats in Tucson.

So where do you get the news that Dwight Howard was poisoning the locker room

Houston is not willing to trade Jones to get Morris. Its another player (Donatas Motiejunas) who is on the Rocket's trading block.

I thought Jones for Markieff Morris sounded like a dumb idea from the Rockets perspective myself. Jones is younger (which means more upside), is on a more team-friendly contract and doesn't have the off the court issues Morris has. But if the Suns do add Jones, maybe they should call themselves the Suncats :p

If people are wondering why Archie Goodwin is getting DNPs a lot lately, it's because Booker took his minutes. On a side note, Booker is 15/21 from 3 on the year

If this happens, UK will have more players on one NBA team than UofL has in the entire league.

Was hoping this would happen, if for no other reason than that the Suns would have five UK players on one team, and the only two that would have played together at UK would have been Knight and Jones in 2011. How crazy is that? Bledsoe (2010), Knight (2011), Jones (2011-12), Goodwin (2013), and Booker (2015). Then all they would need to do is trade Knight for Julius Randle and they would have every Cal team at UK represented.
