Pat Forde (Missouri Alum) cries foul

I disagree it was a bad call. If he’s not interfered with he has a chance to high point the ball and come down in bounds. However, with the interference he never had a chance to do that.

I think that’s what people don’t understand about the call. Back to ball into the receiver and gives him no chance to make a catch inbounds. Pretty simple call that is called a lot on both college and nfl level

Instead of blaming a call, considering he a sports writer, shouldnt he question Missouri's lack of offense in the 2nd half and why that occurred...namely UKs defense

It’s never one play that wins/loses a game. Had MO’s OC not been a complete moron and throw 3rd down UK would been out of TO and probably lost the game on the Wilson sack. Glad he’s an idiot but don’t blame a PI call.

:D...nevermind our Defense had like 10 straight 3 and outs with their Golden Boy QB...

Wagner had to run through the defender to even get to make a play on the ball, and after he ran through him the defender grabbed his arm. They guy interfered twice.

It was...EJ Price also was guilty of holding on the play. Nothing wrong with being on the right side of a few calls...Lord knows we've been on the wrong side of plenty of them.
Piss off, Fuzz, and enjoy the win.

And, also, pay your bet. You lost it. Pay it.

Let’s not talk about them giving us 1st and 10 when our whole staff and team thought it was 3rd and one because the chain gang and refs couldn’t figure shit out...

I’m a Kentucky fan who hates Pat Forde and happy it happened. With that being said, that call is almost never made in that situation.
It was made in the FSU/Auburn national championship game.

There was a lot of contact that forced the receiver out of bounds. It wasn’t near as questionable as the PI in the end zone that they called on us to give them 4 more downs to score in the first half. There was hardly any contact on that play and the ref didn’t throw the flag until 5 seconds after the play. At least on ours they only had to stop us on one more play and not a new set of downs. It was the right call.

Similar call was also was made in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl NC victory OSU (Tressel) over Miam (Coker). Late and very ticky-tac PI was called in OT as Miami was celebrating NC victory. One more play....TD OSU and victory. The PI call we received against Mizzou was much more obvious IMO. GBB!

Right. As soon as our guy got to the endzone, the defender had both hands all over him pushing him and re directing him. Maybe the correct call would have been defensive holding. You see that called all the time. Seemed like way less contact that the PI call on Kash when we thought we had them stopped on 3rd/10 at the goal line...which of course led to one of their TD's.
