He also altered 2-3 and made UNC a bit hesitant. A good effort for his first game in, what, 10 months?
UK had 9 blocks total and I agree ONyenso did alter some shots. Some were saying before the game he should not be thrown into this game.

Did a nice job impacting the flow of the tarholes offense in the paint, for his first game back, he did fine.
I agree. I was actually nervous about him coming into the lineup this game but he did prove me wrong. It should've been 4 blocked shots instead of 3 because that one was clean where he would've blocked 2 shots on basically one possession. They come at good times.

I knew he was cleared but I didn’t expect Cal to play him in a game like this. He did a heck of a job and excited to see his progress!
I admit I had my doubts about him but he absolutely helps us defensively. He makes them think twice before coming inside and when they do he causes issues.
He had only 10 or more minutes in a game once against a quality opponent….. 11 minutes v Bama (blowout) last year.

He had other 10+ minutes again Howard, Duquesne, S Car St, and North Florida. 109 minutes total before tonight
1 minute v UCLA and the Zags, 2 v UL and a grand total of 17 minutes in only 5 SEC games.
Like I said 10 minutes v a ranked team, in big prime time tight game, is a huge step for him…. He had never really done it before.

Bacot played 31 minutes ... took only 4 shots, had only 6 rebounds and 6 turnovers.
I couldn’t care less about his plus/minus I’m just glad to have him back . This was a tough game to make a debut in for the season.
So our bigs all did a really good job of keepin him and UNC in check in the paint. Hard to blame Ugo for UNC's guards making shots. Very misleading -13..
Keeping him and Thiero at UK and not in that portal would be sweet next year.
