HGH is a real thing, and Lebron is playing well still. But Steph was PERFECT from the three tonight in a win over Philly. He made ALL EIGHT of his threes, including three 30-footers. He's still has that magic, but he's been banged up. The three-point shot is the most efficient shot in the game, so why not? He shoots a lot of threes, and converts at a 43% rate, which is a 65% eFG. Why not shoot? His intangibles and his leadership has to count for something, and he's doing this at only 6'2"! I started this thread more than nine years ago, and he's still cooking. Tonight:
1) Was his best start from three without a miss (8)
2) His most threes in a game without a miss (8), and is tied for second overall (three players hit nine - plenty of others have STARTED 8-8, but eventually missed; two players started 10-10, but missed their next shot)
3) His second perfect three-point shooting game with six or more makes (April 9, 2023), and his third 6-6 or better start in less than one year.
4) Steph needs to hit his next three to have a career high for consecutive three point makes (10 in 2016); he would need to hit his next six to break the all-time consecutive three point makes in NBA history (2 have hit 13).
He is nearing 4,000 career threes. Amazing.
